Louis Hector Berlioz의 가곡집 "Les nuits d'ete"에 관한 고찰

Abstract

In 19th C, Louis Hector Berlioz, having been a pioneer musician in French romanticism and great artist in program music, gave fresh vigor to modern orchestra and exerted important effect upon later ages. He left unique image on music history with excellent creative power and various technic caused by his native talent And, he was so great that his historic position cannot be limited in French. At that time, there had been great changes in politics, economics, cultures, society and much the same in music. That is, new style of music was introduced in traditional form or usual technique. In consequence, the romantioism came in being as a new current of musical ideas and developed through a controversy with conservative classicists. L. H. Berliez who was a passionate romanticist and artist burining with artistic passion in his brest, pursued new dramatical possibilities of music. Pieces of vocal music that he composed when he was fascinatied with romanticism are set a high value for a polished melody, while hls works are not so many pieces. As well, he first used a word ""Meladie"" in his work ""Neuf Melodies Irlandaises (l830)"" and since then contributed to the development of Melodie style. Specially. he consolidated high position through his collection of songs and became more romantic since then. Though most of his pieces of vocal music were, at the beginning, composed to the piano aoccompaniment, he obtained better result through works arranged, to the second time, for orchestra. We can know that he was a great artist in program music and had a genius for expressing the dramatic music and orchestra. This thesis commented, according to Subtitles, on his historic background, life worke, romanticism and his most beautiful and important work <LES NUITS DETE>. <LES NUITS DETE> was composed based on The'ophile Gautier's poems and Berlioz made the poem clearer by means of using his own plentiful musical temperament. These investigation on his works became a moment of understanding the fresh and various skills on his music and his internal realm of music.;19세기 佛蘭西 邊音樂의 선구자인 Louis Hector Berlioz는 標題音樂의 거장이며 近代管絃樂法에 새로운 活力을 불어넣어 後世에 많은 影響을 주었다. 그는 天賦的인 才能으로 뛰어난 獨創性과 多樣한 手法으로 音樂史에 獨特한 모습을 보이고 있으며, 또한 그의 音樂史的 位置는 실로 佛蘭西에만 局限될 수 업을만큼 위대하다. 그당시는 革命으로 因해 政治, 經濟, 社會, 文化面으로 많은 變化를 겪었으며 音樂에도 커다란 變化가 있었다. 즉 從來의 傳統的인 形式이나 技法等에 새로운 樣式의 音樂이 추구되었다. 이와함께 새로운 藝術思想으로 浪漫主義가 나타났으며, 保守的인 古典主義者들과의 論爭속에서 發展하였다. 열렬한 浪漫主義者였던 Berlioz는 항상 藝術的인 정열이 마음속에서 불타오르는 藝術家로서 劇的인 音樂의 새로운 可能性을 追求하였다. 그가 浪漫主義의 絶頂에 있을때 作曲한 &#22768;樂曲들은 作品의 數로 보아 그렇게 많지는 않지만 모두 珠玉같은 旋律로 높이 評價되고 있다. 또한 Mélodie라는 單語를 그의 作品〈Neuf Mélodies Irlandaises〉(1830)에서 처음 使用했으며 그後에 Mélodie 樣式의 發展에 크게 貢獻하였다. 特히 그는 그의 歌曲集〈LES NUITS D'ETÉ〉를 通해 그의 位置를 確固히 하였으며 그 以後 더욱 浪漫的으로 흘렀다. 그는 처음에는 聲樂曲들의 大部分을 피아노반주만으로 作曲하였다가 후에 다시 管絃樂伴奏로 하여 더욱 커다란 效果를 보았다. 또한 人聲을 위해 管絃樂化 되었다는 點은 더욱 놀라운 일이다 여기에서 그가 標題音樂의 거장이면서 劇的 音樂表現과 管絃樂에 있어 天才的 才能이 있음을 알수 있다. 本論文에서는 論題에 따라 그의 歷史的背景, 生涯와 作品 浪漫主義와 Mélodie 그리고 그의 聲樂曲中 가장 아릅답고 重要한 位置를 차지하는 歌曲集〈LES NUITS D'ETÉ〉를 分析하였다. 〈LES NUITS D'ETÉ〉는 Théophile Gautier의 詩에 의한 作曲되었고, Berlioz는 그 나름대로의 豊富한 音樂的 方法으로 詩의 單語들을 더욱 鮮明히 하면서 주제를 더욱 뚜렷하게 만들고 있다 筆者는 簡略하나마 이렇게 Berlioz의 音樂을 다루어 본 結果 그의 音樂의 새롭고 多樣한 手法과 音樂에 담긴 그의 內面世界를 좀더 깊이 알수있는 契機가 되었다.
