Abstract

「林花鄭延」은 活字本으로 朝鮮圖書株式會社에서 發刊한 六卷六冊 짜리가 있고 97回로 結構된 長篇 章回體小說로서 西人의 姓氏만으로 作品의 表題가 된 一種의 命名小說이자 愛情小說이다. 作者와 年代가 未詳인 이 作品에 대해 아직 學界에서 詳論된 바는 거의 없고 作品의 解釋에 그친 短篇的인 硏究가 있을 뿐이다. 그러므로 本稿는 I章에서 序를 밝히고 II章에서 作品의 基礎作業인 梗觀을 살펴봄으로써 앞으로의 本格的인 硏究에 對備한 기틀을 마련하고자 한다. III章에서는 作品의 基調을 이루는 葛藤의 樣相이 前·後卷 (第 47回 前後)이 다르게 展開되는 葛藤構造의 二元化의 究明에 主力했다. 前卷의 葛藤構造에서는 婚事障碍主旨를 主脈으로 하는 愛情的 葛藤으로 分析해 보았으며 後卷에서는 一夫多妻制에서 빚어지는 矛盾, 즉 正·副室을 中心으로 惹起되는 家庭悲劇의 葛藤을 다루었다. 다음으로는, 作品의 展開過程을 살피면서 軍談類小說들과의 對比에 보여지는 構成上의 特徵을 抽出해 보았으며 또한 朝鮮朝 前期小說의 類型的 特徵에서 變貌된 樣相에 대해 살폈다. IV章에서는 主人公들의 事件進行에 깊숙히 介入되어 있는 幕後人物의 存在와 影響에 대해 婢子 佳月을 中心으로 考察했다. V章에서는 이 作品을 産出한 作家意識, 그 意識史的 特徵을 究明해 봄으로써 作家가 社會的 背景속에서 窮極的으로 追求하는 世界觀의 基底를 살펴 보았다. 「林花鄭延」은 앞으로 再檢討 硏究되어 文學史的 意義를 確立하는 方向으로 그 硏究領域을 擴大시켜야 하겠다.;LIM WHA JEUNG YEUN, a Korean classical novel, is a style divided into 97 chapters. It is also a kind of named and love story, the title of which is nominated by first name of four heros. The vear when it was written and the author are unknown. Thus far there is to accurate theory about this work, and there are several fragmental theory which only introduce it. In this mannscript, I will part basis on the future concrete study bv briefing the general survey in chapter. In chapter III, I put emphasis on the examination of different discord, the very foundation of this novel between the first and second book (giving priority to 47 chapter). In the structure discord of first book, I analyzed the romantize discord based on the obstacle to marriage and in the second book. I dealt with the untradiction resulting from two wives. Surveying the process of this novel, I not only extract the structural characteristics but also survey the changing aspect compared to the first period novel of vi Dynasty. In Chapter IV, I analyzed the existence and the effect of Sug Gae Wool, a slave, as a man behind the seeme, Who is deeply concerned with event process of heros. In Chapter V, I exapined the foundation of the view of the world resulting from social background, by surveying the consciousness of the author and its characters. I hope that the research circle of ""LIM WHA JEUNG YEUN"" will be enlargened.
