Abstract

「明珠寶月聘」은 100卷 100冊으로 된 大河小說로 「尹河鄭三門聚錄」과 「嚴氏孝門淸行錄」과 함께 連 三部作을 이루어 우리나라의 最高의 長篇으로 10餘年 前에 學界에 發表되었다. 그러나 아직도 이에 대하여 本格的인 硏究가 未洽한 것 같다. 그러므로 本稿에서는 우선 기본적인 課題인 梗槪를 考察하여 앞으로의 本格的인 硏究에 토대가 되고자 한다. 그리고 III章에서는 202名의 登場人物을 男子主役勢力群과 女子主役勢力群 그리고 敵對勢力群과 超越的인 人物로 分類한 후 前者를 軍談小說의 대표적인 作品인 「劉忠烈傳」의 忠烈과 비교 檢討하고 女子主役勢力群에 있어서는 그들이 항상 所持하고 있던 烈과 孝의 개념을 事件과 결부시켜 서술하였다. 그리고 敵對勢力群에 있어서는 個人的인 欲求 좌절의 이면을 고찰하였으며 超越的인 人物에 있어서는 그들의 속성과 역할을 살피어 神聖文化에서 世俗文化로 轉移되는 과도기적 양상을 살폈다. IV章에서는 葛藤構造를 家庭的인 葛藤과 政治的 葛藤으로 大別한 후 家庭的 葛藤을 愛情的 葛藤과 身分的 葛藤으로 分類하였다. 그래서 家庭的 葛藤에 있어서는 그 社會倫理에 순응하는 者와 그 社會倫理를 거부하고자 하는 者의 대결로 검토하였다. 政治的 葛藤의 의미는 어떤 政治的인 理念의 대결보다는 단순히 忠이라는 교리를 부각시키기 위한 葛藤으로 검토하였고, 또한 이는 愛情的 葛藤의 부차적 갈등임을 지적하였다. 「明珠寶月聘」은 이것을 계기로 再 檢討 硏究되어 다른 樂善齋小說과 함께 國文學史의 위치를 확고히 하여 그 存在價値를 찾아야 하겠다.;MYUNGJOO BOELBING was made known an old Korean novel. However, it has been much neglected to study the novel itself. In the respect, the first chapter deals with general survey, which wishes for giving a help in study of the future. Thus, in the following chapter, character was divided into the leading actor, antagonist and superman, and was surveyed their consciousness in this place. In this way, the following chapter deals with structure of trouble, which divides into home trouble and political trouble . Thus this study considers confronting between the demand of the time and the refuse of the time, which examines affending in a devotion sense. Through this analysis, finally, which NACKSUNJAE and MYUNGJOO BOELBING will be revealed worth of high praise in the history of Korean literature.
