기독교 내용의 carol에 대한 연구

Abstract

캐롤은, 각 민족의 고유한 서정이 담친 음율로 생겨난 노래가 발전되어 오면서, 음악적 형식을 갖추게 되어 만들어진 것이다. 따라서 각 나라의 시대성, 자연환경에서 오는 독특한 성격이 인간의 문화 속에서 음악적으로 캐롤을 낳았다고 생각된다. 본 논문의 목적은, 캐롤이 교회 의식과 충교 생활에 미치는 영향이 크고, 일반 사람들에 의해 불리워지고 있으나, 한국에서는 캐롤에 대해 잘 알지 못하므로 캐롤에 대한 이해를 도우려는데 있다. 캐롤은 중교적인 것과 세속적인 것으로 나눌 수 있는데, 여기에서는 종교적인 캐롤을 다루려고 한다. 여러 나라의 많은 캐롤들이 있으나, 모두 연구하기에는 범위가 너무 넓으므로 영국 캐롤을 중심으로 하고, 유렵 몇 나라의 캐롤을 살펴 보았다. 연구 방법은 영국 캐롤곡들의 역사적 배경 등을 문헌적 자료로 연구하였고, 또 영국과 유템 몇 나라의 캐롤 멜로디를 예로 들어 가사 번역과 곡 내용을 설명하였다. 연구 결과로 얻어진 결론은, 캐롤이란 춤을 바탕으로 한 단순한 형식 의 노래이며, 종교적 캐롤의 가사 내용은 주로 크리스마스와 부활절에 대한 것으로, 예수가 인간의 몸으로 태어나셔서 십자가에서 고난을 당하시고 부활하심 등을 나타내고 있다. 곡 설명에서는 대부분의 곡들이 크리스마스 절기의 영국 캐롤로 후렴을 가지며, 'ABAB'와 비슷한 형식이었고, 장조 성격의 곡이 많았으며, 주로 2박자류와 3박자류의 박자로 되어 있었다. 크리스마스와 부활절의 신비, 고난을 이기고 난 기쁨을 노래하는 캐롤이 더욱 더 널리 불리워지며 일상생활에 사용되었으면 한다.;The carol has earned its present place through a long unseen period of time. Each country has its own folksongs national music with its peculiar tones and rhythms. They a handed down from generation to generation as they change themselves sensitive t te characteric of the time. This specific musical form has been adopted through the process purifying its own nature, forming a certain musical tradit called, ""Carol."" The purpose of this study is to show that the carol h influences our religIous lives and worsip in depth and that he unseen national spirit in a culture is firmly rooted in the Carol. In this sense, it is desirable that Korean peop are properly Infonned and understand aboub the nature of t carol more in depth. We can think of the carol in two types, the secular and religious types. The latter one is to be dealt in my paper. It would be too broad a subject to deal with all the various kinds of carol in the world, so the choice was made to study and concentrate on English Carols, and some of the European Carols which are well known to us. It wsa attempted to explain the contents of carol music and its histirical background. English verses are translated. into Korear to go naturally wich Carol Melodies. The contents are aralyzed which explanations of the method (and skills) of composition of the Carol. As the result of this research, it came to be very clear that the carol is a kind of simple musical form based on dancing. The contents of most religious Carols are mainly for Christmas and Easter time showing the meaning of the suffering of the cross, and the power of the Resurrection. Most of the English Carols can be classified as being for Christmas time. They include choruses, their musical form is such as 'ABAB', mnostly in Major keys in duple time or triple time. The writerr hopes that the good tidings Christmas and mystery of the ResurrectIon - the joy after the suffering -will be widely sung and used in our everyday lives.
