dc.description.abstractSaid study relates to the measurement of lead-content in the atmosphere of Seoul by investigating 12 air samples collected over 10 heavy traffic districts and 2 clear aired districts in reference to those. All samlies were collected during June 1 - July 1.1972 and the measurement thereby was performed by the Dithizone Method. The obtained results are as follows : Average lead content among the air during 5-6 a.m. and 9-10 a.m. were 0.024㎎/㎥, 0.048㎎/㎥ respectively and in Bukak Skyway, 0.015㎎/㎥ and in Bongwon Hill, 0.024㎎/㎥ Above mentioned results ahowed that the rapid increases of the automobile and the frequent uses of premium gasoline are much influentual in the degrees of lead content in the air. Especially in Kirea, it is presured that the situation of narrow streets and the increases of high buildings cannot be diffused and diluted the once lead contained air. Therefore much consideration and an adequte steos are desired to be taked against the situation of load contaminated air.-
