초등교원 지망생들의 음악적 재능에 관한 연구

Abstract

In teacher's college whose responsibility is concentrated on education of the second generation, prospective teachers should be educated on various subjects, and what they should possess are professional knowledge and technics. Since the primary education is closely related to the education at the teacher's college, the more highly the level of primary education is expected, the more highly, as a result the level of teaching at t aching college is expected. From this point, of view, it is important to evaluate the musical talents of the students and give them proper instruction based on their musical ability in educating musical education. So the author has examined the problem on music classes with their musical talents and musical background at, high school. Studies are made on the following areas : 1. Comparison of sexes for musical talents. 3. Comparison of musical talents by regional groups. 4. Comparison of musical talents by high school attended (technical and non-technical school) 5. Relationship between the interests of students in musical classes and other classes. 6. Relationship between the rosults of test on musical talents and amount, of musical education at high school. The questionnaires ware distributed to six hundred teacher college students who entered the colleges in l974. Test of musical talents was given in March immediately after entering in the teacher's colleges in Seoul, Pusan, Taegu, Kwangju, Choonchun, and Chungju. The results are as follows ; 1, Test shows no difference between male and female on musical talents 2. Test, shows that the results of test for musical talents fall behind the socre of th high school students. 3. Test, shows little difference regionally. 4, Test shows that graduates of non-technical school are superior to those of technical school in musical talents. 5. Test shows that students who obtained high scores for musical talents are very much interested in music. 6. The questionnaire used in order to back up the above results shows that music teachers' teaching loads are heavy and required number of music classes are not carried out properly. Though most students have interest in music, they consider their music classes as a general subject just like English and Mathematics, and the music class period was spent on singing only most of the time following are urgently needed. Considering those facts, l. The sufficient number of music teacher at high school, 2. The normalization of music classes. 3. Singing-centered music classes should be broudened to include other areas af study.;제2세 국민을 교육할 수 있는 지도자적 인격을 도치하여 유능한 교육자의 양성을 사명으로 하는 교육대학에 있어서 교육대학생들의 지도능력이 각 교과에 걸쳐 두루 지니도록 교육되어야 할 것이다. 그들은 전문적 지식과 기술을 지녀야할 것이며 특히 초등학교의 교육과 교육대학의 교육은 상관적인 목표를 지니고 있는 면에 비추어 초등학교의 교육에 대한 기대가 높으면, 교사에 대한 기대수준도 자연히 높다 할 것이다. 이러한 관점에서 교육대학생들의 음악재능을 파악하여 그들에게 적절한 지도를 가한다는 것은 교육대학 음악지도에 있어 하나의 참고자료가 될 것이므로 본 연구는 음악재능검사와 그들이 고교 재학당시의 음악수업 이수상황을 검증하여 교육대학생들의 음악과목지도상의 문제점을 고찰하여 보려고 한 것이다. 본 연구에서 취급한 문제는 1. 음악재능의 성별비교 2. 음악재능의 검사점수와 규준과의 비교 3. 지역별 음악재능의 차 4. 출신교(입문계,실업계)의 음악재능차 5. 음악교과와 일반교과와의 호혐관계 6. 음악재능검사의 결과와 고교재학시의 음악수업이수상화의 관계 표집대상은 1974년도 교육대학 신입생 600명이며 이들은 서울, 부산, 대구, 광주, 춘천, 제주의 6개 대학생이었다. 이들에게 음악재능검사를 입학직후인 3월에 실시하였는데 그 결과를 보면 다음과 같다. 1. 남, 녀 학생의 음악재능차는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 음악재능검사의 결과는 고등학생 규준에 비하여 뒤지고 있었다. 3. 지역적으로 음악재능차가 있는지를 알아본 결과, 하위검사별로는 약간의 차를 보이기는 하였으나 총점에 있어서는 각 지역간에 통계적으로 아무런 의의있는 차가 없음이 밝혀졌다. 4. 출신교별(인문계, 실업계)로 음악재능에 차를 알아본 결과 인문계 출신이 실업계 출신보다 높게 나타났다. 5. 음악교과와 일반교과와의 호혐관계를 질문지를 통하여 모집분석하여 본 결과, 음악재능 점수가 높은 학생들이 음악을 좋아하였다는 결론을 얻었다. 6. 이상의 여러 결과를 뒷받침하기 위하여 별도로 조사한 자료에 비추어 보면 고등학교에 있어서 음악교사가 부족하여 그들의 주당 음악담당 시간수가 많다는 점, 따라서 교육과정에서 요구하고 있는 6단위 수업이 잘 시행되고 있지 않다는 점이 밝혀졌다. 한편 학생들은 대체적으로 음악에 대해서 흥미를 갖고 있음이 밝혀졌으나 고등학교 음악이 영·수학관식의 운영으로 교과운영이 정상화 되고 있지 못하는 모순을 노출시키고 있음을 볼 수 있다. 또한 음악시간은 구태의연하게 가창중심으로 운영되고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 이상의 결과에 비춰 ① 고등학교에 있어서 음악교사의 확보 ② 고등학교에 있어서의 음악학과 운영의 정상화 ③ 고등학교에 있어서의 음악시간의 가창중심지도방식의 지양 등이 요구 된다고 본다.
