Abstract

For the advancement of knowledge as well as industrial development, it is necessary to have the effective means of retrieval and use of information resources. Among advanced countries, the numerous secondary materials such as bibliographies, indexes, and abstracts have already been published for this purpose. However, we are still in great need of such publications in Korea. The writer has endeavoured in indexing the publications including scholarly journals, serials, government publications and thesises published in Korea during the period of 1960 through 1970 in the field of agriculture. In the selection of periodicals, the scholastic quality was the sole criteria for inclusion. The Korean Decimal Classification was applied in assigning and arranging the materials used in the study. The names of periodicals used are found in the appendix.
