초등학교 체육특기적성교육이 발달장애아동의 통합체육수업에 미치는 효과

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 체육특기적성교육과 발달장애아동의 통합체육수업간의 연계성을 규명하고 그 효과에 대한 검정을 하며 나아가 그 결과를 토대로 체육특기적성의 교육방향을 제시하는데 있어서 기초적인 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 전문의로부터 정신지체를 수반한 발달장애로 진단을 받은 아동으로, 지체장애를 가지고 있지 않은 8~12세 사이의 학령기 아동을 대상으로 하였다. 대상아동들은 서울시에 위치한 초등학교에 재학 중인 아동으로 총 11명을 대상으로 활동결과를 분석하였다. 특기적성교육은 10주간 총 20회, 매회 60분간 실시되었다. 본 연구에서 사용한 검사도구는 안민숙(2004)의 “장애아동의 사회성과 활동참여도” 검사표와, 심정애(2005)의 “수업참여행동 관찰지”의 검사표를 수정 보완하여 사용하였다. 측정결과의 효율적인 분석을 위해 SPSS Window for 12.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 특기적성교육에 참여한 발달장애아동 11명의 통합체육수업 사전?사후 차이 검정을 위해 윌콕슨 부호순위 검정(Wilcoxon signed rank test)을 실시하였고, 통합체육수업 참여도의 5가지 하위영역간의 상관관계를 파악하기 위해 Spearman의 상관관계분석 프로그램을 이용하여 각 하위영역 별 상관관계를 분석하였다. 또한 통합체육수업 참여행동의 2가지 하위영역간의 상관관계를 파악하기 위해 Spearman의 상관관계분석 프로그램을 이용하여 각 하위영역 별 상관관계를 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체육특기적성교육은 발달장애아동의 통합체육수업 참여도 향상에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다(p<.01). 둘째, 통합체육수업 참여도의 5가지 하위 영역 중 교사와의 관계영역에서 가장 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 활동수행>규칙준수>활동참여 및 흥미>교우와의 관계 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 통합체육수업 참여도의 하위 5가지 영역 간에는(활동참여 및 흥미, 교사와의 관계, 교우와의 관계, 활동수행, 규칙준수) 각각 정적인 상관관계를 보였다(p<.05). 넷째, 체육특기적성교육은 발달장애아동의 통합체육수업 참여행동 중 주의집중행동 향상에 영향을 주었으며, 일탈행동은 감소시켰다(p<.01). 다섯째, 통합체육수업 참여행동의 주의집중행동, 일탈행동 2가지 영역간에는 정적인 상관관계를 보였다(p<.01). 이상의 결과를 분석해보면 10주간의 체육특기적성교육은 발달장애아동의 통합체육수업에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 체육특기적성교육을 잘 활용한다면 발달장애아동의 통합교육의 어려움 극복과 보다 나은 향상을 기대 할 수 있다. 그리고 체육뿐만이 아닌 다른 특기적성교육을 교과에도 활용한다면 발달장애 아동의 일반학교 교과적응에 큰 도움이 될 것이라 사료된다.;The purpose of this research was to examine the association, to verify effect between physical education of aptitude for specialty and unified physical education of children with developmental disorders and to show the direction of education for adapted physical activity program. The subjects of this study were engaged by 11 children with developmental disorders(8 to 12 years old) diagnosed by medical doctor. The children belong to an elementary school in Seoul. The adapted physical education were managed for 60 minutes per one time, 20 times and 10 weeks. The test manual of this study was the test table "Rate for sociality and the participation of activity of disabled children" (M.J. Ahn, 2005) and "test table of the participation of activity in a class" (J.A. Shim, 2005). A statistical analysis of the data was performed using SPSS package version 12.0. To verify difference of children participated in physical education of aptitude for specialty before and after unified physical education class, Wilcoxon signed rank test was used and to graph relation between sub-factors of the rate for unified physical education class, Spearman`s relation was used. And the relation was analyzed by Spearman`s relation to know relation between two sub-factors of the participation of activity in unified physical education class. The results of this study are as follows; First, the rate of participation in unified physical education class of children with developmental disorders who participated in physical education of aptitude for specialty showed higher than pre-test(p<.01). Second, the relationship with a teacher showed the highest score among five sub-factors of unified physical education class and activity performance>keeping rules>the participation of activity and interesting were followed. Third, among the participation of activity and interesting, relationship with a teacher, relationship with friends, activity performance, keeping rules of unified physical education class among five sub-factors they showed little correlation(p<.05). Fourth, the result showed that the correlation of unified physical education class among 5 sub-factors(the participation of activity and interesting, relationship with a teacher, relationship with friends, activity performance and keeping rules)(p<.05). Fifth, the result showed that the correlation among concentrated activity of the participation of activity in unified physical education class and deviated activity showed.
