신형상 추구

Abstract

현대 회화에 있어서의 형상성은, 추상이라는 기법을 통해서 회화가 현실과 단절됨에 대한 balance회복의 수단으로 나타나게 되었다. 형상성, 즉 회화의 현실성은 현실의 객관화로서 나타나는데 보이는 것만을 그리는 것이 아니라 現象的인 일체를 제시하는 것으로 그 표현에 있어서는 직접적이고 구체적인 방법으로 나타난다. 이러한 새로운 형상의 추구는 현실에 밀착된 화면을 창조하는 것으로, 불안한 시대의 고뇌를 있는 그대로 나타내는 구상적 표현 방법 즉 신형상과, object의 도입으로 추구하는 pop Art 등에서 찾아볼 수 있다. 본인은 pop Art의 열린 자세로 도시 공간 속에서 옷을 벗고 있는 자세의 인간-평범하고 일상적인 인간-을 묘사함으로써 현대 인간들이 처해 있는 시대적 상황을 제시하였으며, 화면 속에 불안한 사회의 고뇌를 나타내고자 했다. 이론적 기반으로, 내용적인 면에서는 시대적 상황이나 인간 내면 세계의 갈등을 인물화로서 묘사하고 있는 작가들을 연구하고, 방법적인 면으로는 화면 구성이나 기법에 있어서 비슷한 점이 잇는 작가들을 연구하여 본인의 작품과 비교 분석하고자 했다. 본인의 실제작품의 분석을 통해 작품의 이론과 실제를 결부시키고, 작가의식의 반영, 화면 상의 조형적 탐구와 기법상의 표현 가능성을 살피면서 회화적인 가치관을 정립해 나가고자 한다.;In the Modern Painting, the configuration has appeared as the means of balance-recovery against the rupture between painting and realties through the technic of the non-objective. The configuration, that is, the painting realism can be observed like the objectification of the realities, not being expressed as they seem to exist but showing. the whole phenomenon, the technic of which is direct and concrete. The pursuit of new figuration means the creation of the picture which is nealist to the realities of life and appears both on nouvelle figuration in which the auguish of unstable age is expressed as it is and on the pop-art by the introduction of object. By drawing a human being in the nude who is living in this urban space I, as a sincere pop-artist, seek to represent the circumstances of the times in which the human beings are, and the anguish of the unstable age. To form the theorical basis on the contents, I attempt to make a careful study of the artists who, by their figure paintings, have ever expressed the circumstance of the times and the mind's complication. To form the theorical basis on methodology, I aim at a careful research of these artists who are similiar to me in techinics and composition and also, aim at the analysis of their works in comparision with mine. Through the analysis of my real work, linking the theory and the practice into closer relation, looking about the possibility of expressional technics and the formative pursuit, and seeking the reflection of artist's conscrousness, I intend to establish a value-view for the painting.
