剌繡材料의 造形的 要素에 對한 考察

Abstract

作品이란 藝術家의 創作力이 그 作業의 材料와 符合함에 따라 形體를 찾게 된다. 이 論文에서는 刺繡의 材料를 실과 바탕감으로 하여 材料의 物理的, 化學的 性質과 材料의 造形的 要素와의 關係를 再整理하여, 이러한 理論的인 것을 基盤으로 10개의 作品을 제작하여, 報告하는데 目的이 있다. 이러한 目的을 위하여 다음과 같은 과정을 밟았다. 序論에서는 傳統的인 刺繡의 意義와 現代刺繡로서의 傾向을 槪略的으로 敍述하고 재료연구의 중요성과 본 論文의 目的을 記述하였다. 本論에서는 우선 理論的으로 基盤을 세운 후 10개의 作品을 古木, 落葉, 꽃 등을 非具象的으로 표현하였다. 理論的인 基盤에 있어, 실의 경우에는 일반적인 造形要素를 정리한 후, 形態, 質感, 色으로 區分하여 알아 보았고, 바탕감은 표현이 되는 材料로서 뿐만 아니라, 바탕 자체가 표현의 일부분이 되는 점을 强調하였으며, 刺繡材料에 따른 特性을 列擧하였다. 結論에서는 刺繡材料에는 일반적인 조형적 性質外에 굵기, 染色性, 質感 등의 특수성이 있어, 다른 재료보다 특이한 표현 재료임을 再認識하였고, 本論에서 强調한 제要素들은 앞으로, 자수재료의 선택이나 評價에 있어서 도움이 될 수 있는 可能性을 시사 하였다. 그리고 작품제작 過程에서 털실로 작품을 試圖해 본 결과, 털실이 풍부한 表現材料임을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 무엇보다도 좋은 자수작품을 만들기 위해서는 재료의 성질파악, 그리고 작가의 예민한 美意識과 더불어 꾸준한 노력이 필요하다는 것을 느꼈다.;Harmonious phenomena of nature continuously stimulate human's aesthetic conciousness and make impulse to create anything, so man has expressed poem, music, and arts to understand essential quality of cosmos from vitality of nature. Modern dyeing art processes have persued unique world of formative art to express man's aesthetic impulse by original expression method. Therefore, symbolically in order to represent cosmos of nature by expression of flowers, I have studied as follows. First, to study cosmos of nature and difference of formative conciousness between oriental and western arts, formative principle to appear formative conciousness, and symbolic image of a flower. Second, to create my fifteen dyeing arts by lines especially, Therefore, to elevate the chroma of the dye management of fixing is very important. In conclusion, the further dyeing arts processes should solve the above various problems and try to achieve new method of expression and more unique formative arts.
