線에 의한 空間表現

Abstract

In this present thesis, the auther intended to express the emotional impulse due to internal necessity using lines which are the least element of expression. In an analysis of space by means of lines, the purpose of this study is to creat clear space which involves softness and tension. Picture is repetition of the act and formed with traces. Then an infinite space where the spirit coincides with the act is expressed. Light-colored space which gives tension is overlain by horizontal and vertical lines, and traces with which work progresses step by step occasionally form a visual stratum-structure. The theoretical background of this study is to examine the geometrical pure abstraction presented by Mondrian and the conceptual art of Sol Lewitt in the aspect of meaning and Martin Barre in structural viewpoint and Jean-Michel Meurice in expressional viewpoint in the aspect of method, and the auther analizes her works in comparison with them.;현대회화에 있어 추상화는 여러 양상으로 발전되었다. 이들을 살펴보면, Mondrian의 계보에 속하는 객관적 Reality를 추구하는 기하학적 추상과, Kandinsky의 「內的 必然性의 外的 表現」이라는 주관적 태도에서 비롯된 표현주의적 추상, 그리고 따쉬(얼룩, 色點)에 의한 표현을 특징으로 하는 따쉬즘(Tachisme)적 추상등이다. 이들은 때로 상호 보완적인 영향을 주기도 하고, 또한 새로운 시대의 급격히 발달된 공학적 현상, 사회적 요구, 작품에 대한 새로운 개념등 복합적인 要因등의 굴곡속에서 추상표현주의, 색채추상, Pop Art, Op Art, Kinetic Art, Minimal Art,등의 다양한 조류로 전개되었다. 본 작품제작 논문에서는 이론적 기반으로 기하학적 순수추상 회하를 전개한 piet Mondrian에서 美術史的 意義를 찾고자 했으며, 개념미술에 있어서의 Sollewitt에 대하여는 개념과 행위를 구분하는 그의 理論을 분석하였다. 구조적인 측면에 있어 Martin Barre를, 표현적인 측면에 있어서는 Jean-Michel Meurice를 연구하였다. 또한, 연구의 내용에서 작업의 태도를 정리해 보았으며, 연구의 방법에 있어서 線과 空間의 表現을 분석, 연구하므로써 그에 따른 문제점과 시각적 요소들을 구체화 시키고자 한다. 이상의 이론적 기반과 내용의 연구를 통하여 본인의 회화적 가치관을 정립 시키고자 한다.
