東洋畵에 있어서의 reality추구

Abstract

인간에게는 본능적으로, 표현하려는 욕구가 있으며 이것은 여러 형태로 나타나게 된다. 그러나 여러형태 중에서, 본인은 미적형태에 가치를 두는 예술적 입장에 서서, 자신의 直觀과 思惟를 통한 판단을 화면위에 표현해 가려고 한다. 현대에 이르러 회화작품들이 반드시 평면위에 표현되고 있지는 않지만, 본인은 동양화의 표현기법에 바탕을 둔 一連의 작품제작 과정을 통하여 美의 reality를 추구해 보고자 한다. 인간생활과 사물에서의 진실을 목적으로 하는 reality는 회화에 있어서도 가장 근본적인 문제로 계속되어 왔다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 reality의 개념을 추구해 가며, 그에 대한 자신의 입장과 시각을 표현하려 했으며 나무를 소재로 하여 조형적 이론에 근거할 여러가지 표현방법을 시도해 보았다. 그러나 기법상으로 reality를 추구하는 것은 내면세계의 reality를 표현하려는 방법적 수단에 불과하므로 인식의 대상이나 표현 방법상의 문제보다도 인간과 사물의 상황에 상응하는 reality를 인식하는 것이 중요하다고 생각된다. 그러므로, 본인이 제작한 일련의 작품과 본 논문의 이론적 근거를 통하여 인생을 통하여 찾아 나서야 하는 reality의 추구에 한걸음을 내딛고자 한다.;Instinctively, man has desire to express which might appear in various forms. In such various forms, I will express my interpretation from intuition and speculation, in the artistic point of view which values the aesthetic form. Though the work of painting is not always expressed on the plane up to modern time, I want to pursue the reality of Art from the process of a series of production of work, basing on the technic of expression of an Oriental Painting. The reality which aims at truth in human life and things has been pursued as the most fundamental problem in painting as well as other arts. Therefore, in this thesis, I intend to represent my view point and sense of visual perception, pursuing the concept of reality. And making tree as the subject matter, I want to attempt the various methods of expression, basing on the formal element. But the pursuit of reality in technic is merely a means to express the reality of inner world. I think it more important to recognize the reality which responds to the situation of man and things, than the problem of object or the method of expression. I am going to start my first step of pursuing the reality which must be searched for throughout my whole life, through the series of production of work and the theoretical basis of this thesis.
