가족문제해결에 있어서 役割理論 適用에 관한 연구

Abstract

The concept of role which presents interactions between individual and society can be applied as a useful instrument to social work in the sense that the problem of maladjustment of individual can be solved by the pursuit of requilibrium of individual and his environments. In the modern industrial society, the rapid change to nuclear family results in weakening of traditional functions of family. Consequently, tension and discord between members of family become one of the serious social problems. Especially in the case of Korean family which is confronted with many conflicts in the course of disorganization of large family system, it seems effective to observe the problems of individual in the context of family relations. So this thesis focuses on the relations between family roles and tries to diagnose and treat individual problem by studying the aspect of role ehactment of family members. For that, at first vole theory is examined as a theoretical background, and then the value of adjustment of role theory to social work and family problems is investigated. And the roles of basic subsystems in the family group (spouse subsystem, parental subsystem, sibling subsystem) and the conflicts among those roles are considered. As a result of these studies, it is known that the gap between the role expectation and the role enactment among family members is the main cause of problem. And case study shows that the investigation of family role relations can be a useful instrument for the diagnosis and treatment of individual problem. In the rapidly changing modern society, the role differentiation and the role expectation among family members become indistinct. So self-adjustment to new roles in accordance with the social change is required. From this point of view, it is very effective to study the aspect of role enactment of family members for the solution of individual problem. Accordingly subsequent study of the family roles has its own value in the light of family welfare.;個人과 社會間의 相互作用을 연결해 주는 役割理論은 人間과 環境과의 再均衡을 추구함으로써 人間의 不適應 問題의 解決을 시도하는 社會事業 分野에 있어서 한 유용한 도구로서 適用될 수 있다. 現代産業社會에 있어서의 급격한 核家族化는 家族의 傳統的技能의 약화를 초래하였으며, 그 結果로서 家族成員間의 심각한 긴장상태나 상호작용의 부조화를 초래하였다. 특히 大家族制度의 해체과정에서 많은 갈등을 겪고있는 우리 나라 家族의 경우, 個人의 問題를 家族關係를 通해 考察해 보는 것은 效果的이라고 본다. 이에 本 硏究는 家族成員들 間의 役割關係에 焦点을 두어 그들의 役割遂行양상을 把握해 봄으로써 個人問題의 診斷과 解決을 시도해 보았다. 이를 위해 우선 理論的 背景이 되는 役割理論을 살펴본 다음 家族社會事業分野에 있어서 役割理論의 適用의 意義와 가치를 檢討하였다. 또한 家族集團의 基本的인 하위체계 즉 夫婦關係, 父母子女關係, 형제자매관계의 役割과 그로부터 파생될 수 있는 갈등을 檢討하였으며 家族 構成員間의 役割期待와 役割遂行間의 괴리가 問題發生의 主原因이 됨을 考察하였다. 그리고 事例硏究를 通하여 個人의 問題의 診斷과 解決에 있어서 家族間의 役割關係把握의 유용성을 證明해 보았다. 急變하는 現代社會에서 家族成員間의 役割區分과 이에 따르는 役割期待가 不分明해졌으며, 時代變化에 따르는 새로운 役割에의 適應이 必要하게 되었다. 이에 社會事業分野에서 個人의 問題를 家族全體의 役割遂行面에서 檢討한다는 것은 問題解決에 매우 效果的이며, 따라서 家族福祉的 側面에서의 家族役割에 대한 硏究가 절실하다고 하겠다.
