결손가정과 일반가정 중학생의 성격에 관한 비교연구

Abstract

본 연구는 결손가정이 청소년인 중학생의 성격형성에 어떠한 영향을 미치며 일반가정 학생과 결손가정 학생의 성격요인을 비교하여 그 특성을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 밝히고자 하는 문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 결손가정 학생과 일반가정 학생의 성격요인에는 어떠한 차이가 있는가? 2. 결손가정 남학생과 결손가정 여학생의 성격요인에는 차이가 있을까? 3. 편부가정학생, 편모가정학생과 일반가정 학생의 성격요인에는 어떠한 차이가 있는가? 이러한 문제를 밝히고자 서울 시내 K중학교 2, 3학년 학생중 결손가정 학생 84명(남자 : 34명, 여자 : 50명)과 일반가정 학생 100명(남녀 각각 50명)을 대상으로 황 응연의 「표준화 인성 진단 검사(중학교용, 1979년)」을 실시하여 그 결과를 집단별 성격요인별로 비교하여 평균치(M), 표준편차(SD)를 산출하고 t검증을 하였다. 연구의 결과는 일반가정 학생이 활동성, 남향성, 성취성, 반사회적 경향에 있어서 결손가정 학생보다 의의있는 차이로 높았으며(p<.05) 안정성, 지배성, 사려성, 사회성, 자율성, 신경증적 경향, 정신병적 경향에는 두 집단의 차이가 없었다. 또 결손가정 학생의 남녀간에 성격특성을 비교해 보면 지배성과 사회성에서는 결손가정 여학생이 의의있는 차이로 높았다.(p<.01) 이러한 결과로 보아 형태적 결손가정 학생의 성격요인은 일반가정 학생의 성격요인과 두드러지게 큰 차이를 나타내지 않음을 보여주고 있다.;The purpose of this study is to examine closely the personal characters of the youth of broken home and those of ordinary home assuming that of the important factors the home environment, broken home, have the great influence on the formation of the characters of the youth. Therefore the Subjects, intending to make clear in this study, are as fallows: 1. What differences in characteristic factors does it make between the youth of broken homes and the youth of odinary homes? 2. Is there any different characteristic factor between boys and girls of broken homes? For these subjects being mentioned above, there had been brought into operation the personality test (Method of Whang, Eung yon; :for middle school students, 1979) by making objects of study 84 middle school students of broken homes and 100 of ordinary homes in the enter of Seoul. The result of the personality test was compared according to each variable (as follows) and the mean (M), standard deviation (S.D) and t-test were obtained. Results 1. There was marked differences between the youth of broken homes and those of ordinary homes. The youth of ordinary homes are superior in Activity, Masculinity, Achievement and Anti-social behaviors than the youth of broken homes. 2. There was no outstanding difference in Stability, Dominance, Reflectiveness, Sociability, Autonomy, Psychoneuroses and Psychoses between the youth of broken homes and those of ordinary homes. 3. According to the differences between the boys of broken homes and the girls of ordinary homes, there was prominant difference between two groups. The girls are superior than the boys in Dominance and sociability, and the boys are superior than the girls in Masculinity. By these results, it is proved that the environment of broken home does not effect on every charcteristic factors of the youth.
