dc.description.abstract1990년대 후반 들어 환상문학은 사람들에게 큰 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone」의 유행에 의한 것으로, 이는 지금까지 억압과 멸시를 받아왔던 판타지 문학에 대한 재평가하는 계기를 마련하였다. ;This purpose of this research is to find what types of adequate visual and formative methods can be used to express a fantasy world that is structurally different from reality by containing descriptions of two different worlds. The method of research is to first define a fantasy world and to examine the structure of a fantasy picture book, and to find the adequate visual and formative means of expression based on these characteristics. Firstly, this research focuses on visualizing the circulation and infinitude of space using the studies of M. C. Escher on modern descriptions of space to describe visual expressions that are not possible in reality, such as distorted perspectives and multiple points of reduction. This is based on the contemporary understanding of space which has been influenced by modern mathematics and physics, and because of the application of M. C. Escher's modern philosophy of space, contains periodic differences from the pictures that were printed in the first edition of "Alice In Wonderland" printed in 1871. Secondly, to express a fantasy world, the research used dpaysement and collages to fulfill the creation of a fantasy world that was originally expressed by surrealism. Surrealists were able to create a new conception by foregoing the simple formative effects of cubism using collages and depaysement, deriving the original philosophy of ready-made techniques. depaysement and its use of random conjunctions of two incompatible realities on an unsuitable field was able to convey new ideas on the placement of objects and pushed our imaginations into unchartered territory and opened a new world of formative expression. An image using such methods, by the calculated placement of objects, was able to portray not just one but a variety of meanings. This has led us to understand our limited conception of objects and gave us new opportunities to explore visual expressions of different objects. Thirdly, a computer was used to not only facilitate the production and revision process, but also to bring a more familiar aspect to young children who are more influenced by the digital environment. The research seeks to express a fantasy world by applying Escher's modern theories of space and the depaysement and collages of cubism to "Alice In Wonderland," which is one of the classics in fantasy literature. By comparing it with the original publication of "Alice In Wonderland" first published in 1871, it seeks to show the periodic differences in our understanding of space and how it reflects the different situations of each era.-
