시맨틱 웹 기술을 이용한 사용자 알림 에이전트 시스템

Abstract

인터넷이 비약적으로 발전함에 따라 웹이 담고 있는 정보의 양이 기하급수적으로 늘어나게 되었다. 그에 따라 정보를 찾고, 다루고 표현하는데 있어서 많은 시간과 노력을 들여야 하는 등의 문제점들이 발생하게 되었다. 이에 기존과는 다른 새로운 방법이 필요하게 되었는데 시맨틱 웹(Semantic Web)은 그러한 문제점에 접근하는 가장 설득력 있는 차세대 인터넷 기술이다. 시맨틱 웹은 현재의 웹이 담고 있는 데이터를 단순히 구문(syntax)으로만 다룰 것이 아니라 데이터가 담고 있는 의미를 이해하여 웹에서의 정보 처리 상호 운용(interoperability)을 높이고자 하는 목적에서 고안되었다. 이제 시맨틱 웹은 개발 시기였던 초기단계를 벗어나 시맨틱 웹을 이용한 어플리케이션등을 직접 개발하는 단계로 넘어 가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 새로운 인터넷 기술인 시맨틱 웹의 RDF와 RDFS기술을 사용하여 시맨틱 웹이 실제로는 어떻게 구현될 수 있는지를 사용자 알림 에이전트 시스템을 통해서 보인다. 사용자 알림 에이전트 시스템은 서버에서 시맨틱 웹 언어인 RDF와 RDFS로 작성된 데이터를 제공하고 클라이언트의 사용자 알림 에이전트가 서버로부터 데이터를 전송 받아서 RDF파서를 통해 해석한 후 이를 사용자의 설정에 맞게 재구성하여 보여주는 시스템이다. 이러한 시스템을 통해 기존의 XML데이터의 한계를 기술하고 RDF와 RDFS의 기술이 이를 극복하는 좋은 대안이 될 수 있음을 보일것이다. ;The amount of contents that World Wide Web has is increasing dramatically with growing internet. That makes many problems to search, to management and to represent the information. The current web needs new technique to decrease the problem. The Semantic web is the "new technique." The semantic web was devised in order that the machine can understand the meaning of data and increase the interoperability. Now, the semantic web advances their stage from babyhood to childhood. This thesis will show how to materialize semantic web with the Automatic Notification Agent System. The Automatic Notification Agent System is a system that the server of the system gives data made by semantic web language to agent on client and the agent interprets the data with RDF parser. The agent shows the data to user with form demanded by user. This system shows that RDF and RDFS technology is good for overcoming limits of XML-based system.
