인간의 감성을 표현한 도제인형 연구

Abstract

인간은 단순한 존재가 아니라 표정 및 몸짓 등을 통해 자기표현성을 가진 존재이다. 자연의 일부분으로 자연의 섭리 속에 존재하고, 자연으로부터 끊임없는 동경과 감동을 받는다. 인간의 역사와 함께 공존해 온 대자연은 모든 생명의 원천일 뿐 아니라 인간의 영혼을 감동시키고 창조적 활동을 제시하는 원동력이 되어왔던 것이다. 이러한 인간의 창조적 활동은 표현 행위의 한 부분이라 할 수 있으며, 각기 다른 흥미와 태도를 가진 개인의 성향이 반영되어진 것으로 보아진다. 따라서 인간의 예술 작품은 작가 고유의 감성과 내면세계가 반영되어 있는 표현 활동에 따른 결과로써 같은 경험에도 개개인이 느끼게 되는 감성들이 달라서 표현법 역시 다양하게 이루어지게 되는 것이다. 가장 가까이 접하는 인간의 형상은 닮은 형상을 '인형'이라 하며 고대로부터 현대에 이르기까지 끊임없는 관심과 표현의 대상이 되어왔다. 인간에게 감성이란 자연스럽게 생성되는 것으로 보아지며, 그것을 표현하는 과정에서 자신의 감성을 확인할 수 있다는 생각에 인형을 매개로 인간의 감성을 표현하고자 한다. 이에 본 논문은 인간의 감성과 내면세계와의 관계를 통한 표현에 대하여 알아보고, 인형을 통해 가장 효과적으로 표현 될 수 있는 형태를 연구하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 제작은 각각의 주제가 가지는 이미지에 적합한 인형을 제작하는데, 섬세한 조각과 사실적 묘사를 통해 표현하고, 이를 원형으로 제작한 후 반복 제작이 가능한 석고 틀을 이용한 이장주입기법을 주로 이용하였다. 각 주제에 효과를 더 할 수 있는 부분으로 작고 섬세한 부분은 직접 제작하여 결합하였다. 태토는 정밀한 표현이 가능한 백색도가 높은 자기질 점토를 사용하였고, 장식적인 부분은 점토에 고화도 안료를 섞어서 색토로 만든 후 반죽하여 사용하였다. 유약은 섬세한 부분의 형태를 효과적으로 표현하기 위해 대부분 무유로 하였고, 유약 색상이 효과적인 부분은 유약으로 처리하되 스프레이로 시유를 하였다. 소성 방법은 0.3㎥ 전기 가마에서 최고 온도 850℃까지 8시간 1차 소성하였고, 2차 소성 역시 0.3㎥ 전기 가마에서 최고온도 1230℃까지 12시간 동안 산화염소성을 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 인간은 자연 속에서 생활을 해 왔으며 이러한 삶에서 축적된 감성은 표현의 중요한 동기가 되고, 그 표현 방법에 있어서는 작가의 개성적인 표현 방법에 대한 모색이 필요함을 알게 되었다. 인간의 감성 이미지를 재해석하고 다듬으며 인형으로 표현하는 과정에서 단순히 의미의 일방적인 전달이 아닌 공감대를 유발시킬 수 있는 형태가 되도록 하는 점도 간과되지 말아야 될 부분이라고 보아진다. 인간의 모습과 가장 흡사한 형상인 인형을 매개로 인간의 감성을 표현하는 과정을 통하여 우리의 인체 역시 몸짓 언어로써 간단한 의사표현뿐 아니라 마음속에 내재된 추상적인 감성들을 표현해 왔음을 알 수 있었다. 더불어 인형의 모습은 기본적인 표현 형상으로 역사적으로는 각 시대의 인물상과 생활상, 풍속 등을 엿볼 수 있다는 점에서 인류 자체의 역사를 반영하고 있었음을 확인하였다. 또한 조형 과정을 통하여 '인체의 미' 가 가지는 아름다움의 발견과 함께 연구자의 감성이 '어떻게 표현 되어지는가' 를 구체적으로 경험할 수 있었던 계기가 되었다. 앞으로 본 연구를 바탕으로 인간의 감성이 인형을 통해 어떻게 표현될 수 있는지 연구하고, 연구자의 감성표현이 '자기표현' 의 방법으로 고유한 개성을 갖게 되길 기대한다. ;The expression 'Art work have value of beauty' means that perfected experience of an artist inheres on art work and in the back of it the presentation activity of the artist is reflected. It means that activity of the artist is closely related to a matter of expression and means that it is the artist's experience that is taken notice most carefully in art. All the people have a variety of interest and attitude according to their personality. Therefore all the specific art works assume a separate character. This is because each of people feels different sensibility from the sameexperience and the process which the each sensibility is represented is different respectively. This thesis takes aim at the study about representing the human body on a theme of the sensibility which one feels subjectively through a general inquiry into the formative beauty of the human body, based on the theoretical backing of person's sensibility and the body expression following person's sensibility. Therefore I intend to represent what to represent and how to represent one's subjective sensibility through the pottery moulding of the human body. To represent the human body based on the human sensibility formatively and to represent the content of human's sensibility and the representation of human body, I found out the formative beauty of the human body and designed the form of the human body which was able to give sense most effectively on each theme in the process which moulded the human body on the theme of the subjective sensibility. Working is made figure in the image have the theme, and modeling is madeby finding sculpture and truthful description. The forms were made using the sip-casting method in ceramics for repeated production. The porcelain clay body was used and for some of the works high-temperature colored slips were mixed into the clay. To most effectively express delicate curves and details, I sprayed non-shining transparent glaze. The work was oxidized-chlorine fired in 0.3㎥ electric kilns. The first firing was in maximum 850° degree for eight hours, and the second firing was in maximum 1230° degree for 12 hours. This study showed that emotional expression is a part of self presentation. Here, I felt the necessity of trial of characteristics expression. Also, Image is redefined by self-emotion in emotional expression. And I confirmed what emotion is expressed visibly. In this work, I experienced how does it expressed, and I found that figure have beauty. On the basis of this work, I expect to express emotional expression through figure as another way of self-emotion.
