婦人의 就業이 夫婦間의 葛藤에 미치는 影響

Abstract

Employed women have two roles in home and workshop. So they meet some difficulties to their role in home and they compensate their complain in home by satisfaction in workshop. This poor performance of role in home and compensation have an effect on husband-wife relationship. The purpose of this study is to describe home management and husband-wife relationship of employed women according to eight items - (1) Management of household (2) Service for her husband (3) Child care (4) Relation with a household assistant (5) Extension of dissatisfaction with workshop to home (6) Dissolution of dissatisfaction with home (7) Help on home finance (8) Appreciation on husband. The subjects of this study are 200 employed women, 100 nurses and 100 teachers. In the result of this study, the employed women have somewhat special difficulties on husband-wife relationship which bring from workshop of the wives. But we can't conclude absolutely that women's employment bring about trouble in all cases on husband-wife relationship because the difference of the rate between trouble- and happy of the respondents is small.
