兒童의 分類行腫 發達에 關한 硏究

Abstract

The present study was conceived in relation to the dual-stage developmental theory(Kendler and Kendler, 1975): a singleunit mode in which behavior is guided by environmental stimuli, and a mediational mode in which behavior is guided by self-generated representational response that abstract feature of environment. 108-subjects, 36 from each three age levels(3, 5, 7), were emploved. They compared photographs of bird(5 Scolopacidae, 5 Haematopodidae) and judged whether they were similar or different. According to dual-stage model it was made on the hypotheses that overgeneralization error, in which photograps from different kinds are judged to be similar, should decrease with age: over-discriminated error, in which photograps from the same kind are judged to be different, should initially increase with age and then decline; and categorical response, in which photographs from the same kind are correctly judged to be the same and photogrphs from different kinds are correctly judged to be different, should increase with age. The results are consistent with the expectation.;본 연구는 3세, 5세, 7세 아동 108명의 被驗者를 대상으로 새들의 사진(도요새 5, 물떼새 5)을 비교한 후 그들이 비슷한지 다른지를 판단하는 분류과제를 사용하여 분류행동의 발달과정을 밝히고자 하였다. Kendler와 Kendler(1975)가 제안한 二重段階 發達 理論 (dual-stage developmental theory)은 환경적 자극에 의해서 행동이 指導 된다는 單一單位方式 (single-unit mode)과 表象機能에 의해서 행동이 指導 된다는 仲介 方式(mediation mode)의 두 가지 學習理論을 포함 한다. 분류행동의 발달은 단일행위 방식에 의한 자극일반화 기제와 중개 방식에 의한 개념표상의 중개기제를 반영한다. 이 모형에 의하면, 다른 새들의 종류를 비슷한 종류로 판단하는 過一般化 過誤는 연령에 따라 감소 할 것이며 같은 새의 종류를 다른 새의 종류로 판단하는 過辨別 過誤는 처음에는 증가하다가 감소 할 것이며, 그리고 같은 새의 종류를 같은 종류로 판단하는 反應과 다른 새들의 종류를 다른 종류로 판단하는 正確分類는 연령에 따라 증가 할 것으로 가정된다. 연구 결과 아동의 분류행동 발달과정은 二重段階 發達 理論과 일치하는 개체발생적 발달과정임이 밝혀졌다.
