저시력장애인을 위한 웹 게시판의 설계 및 구현

Abstract

우리나라는 현재 전국맹학교에 재학 중인 시각장애인 가운데 70∼80%가 활용 시력을 가지고 있다. 그러나 교육 현장에서는 전맹 학생 위주로 교육이 실시되고 있어, 이들의 교육적 요구를 충족시키기 위한 교육적 배려가 부족하며, 이를 보완하기 위한 적합한 교육 환경이 시급히 요청되고 있다. 최근 정부에서는 지식·정보화 사회를 맞아 장애인, 여성, 노인 등 정보소외 계층에 대한 정보 접근성을 확보하기 위해 "정보격차해소에 관한 법률"을 제정하고 있다. 하지만, 현재 맹학교에서는 잔존 시력이 있음에도 불구하고 전맹들과 저시력 학생들이 같은 수업을 받고 있으며, 저시력학생들간에도 잔존 시력과 시기능 차이가 다양하지만 교육현실은 그들의 교육적 요구를 충족시켜 주지 못하고 있어 안타까운 현실이다. 따라서 이들이 시각을 효과적으로 사용할 수 있을 때 학교에서 학업을 보다 성공적으로 수행할 수 있으며, 사회에서 보다 독립적으로 생활할 수 있게 될 것이다. 그러므로 저시력 학생을 교육하는 교사는 이들의 잔존 시력을 최대한 효율적으로 활용할 수 있도록 지도해야 할 것이다. 본 연구에서의 구현 된 저시력장애인을 위한 웹 기반 게시판은 저시력 학생들의 잔존 시력을 고려하여 자신에게 맞는 환경에서 시공을 초월한 학습자와 교수간에 활발한 상호작용을 통해 자기주도적학습의 효과를 얻을 수 있으며, 그들의 잔존 시력을 최대한 효율적으로 활용 할 수 있어 시기능 향상에 도움이 될 것이라고 기대해 본다. ;At the present day in Korea, 70-80% of the defective vision disabled pupils who attend schools for the blind nationwide have their useful eyesight. But, the education is enforced by total blindness student putting first in the scene of the education, so it lacks the educational attention to satisfy their educational request. Then the suitable learning environment to supplement this is requested urgently. Lately, government is establishing "Law about information catch-up" to secure the information accessibility for the information alienation class that is disabled person, woman, the aged and the like being confronted by the knowledge information-oriented society. However, present, the defective vision disabled pupils take class together with the total blindness pupils despite they have yet the survival eyesight in schools for the blind. There are various differences between the defective vision disabled pupils in the survival eyesight and the eyesight function, but the educational actuality does not satisfy their educational requests regrettably. Therefore, they can achieve their studies more successfully at school when they can use their eyesight effectively, and also they will can live more independently in society. So, teacher who educate the survival eyesight pupils should guide them to take the advantage of their survival eyesight maximum efficiently. The WEB-based notice board for the defective vision disabled person who is embodied in this study can be expected that it can give them the effect of own leading study through lively interaction between learner and professor who transcend time and space in correct environment to themselves considering survival eyesight of these defective vision disabled pupils. Also, it can be expected that it will take the advantage of survival eyesight maximum efficiently and will help the eyesight function elevation.
