律動的인 線의 이미지 形象化

Abstract

국 영문초록 수록;현대미술은 다양한 조형예술로서의 가치를 추구하며, 무한한 가능성을 가지고 독특한 작품세계를 형성하고 있다. 이러한 현상은 염색공예에서도 예외는 아니어서 새로운 재료와 표현기법의 개발로 심미적인 대상이 될 수 있으며, 그 소재의 부드러운 특성으로 다양한 조형행위를 할 수 있어 미술의 한 분야로서, 그 위치를 확고히 하고 있다. 따라서, 연구자는 '율동적인 선의 이미지 형상화' 라는 주제를 설정하고 이를 위한 이론적 배경을 토대로, 천의 속성인 자연스러운 번짐의 효과를 이용하여 대상의 이미지를 통한 미적체험과 표현가능성을 추구하는 데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 작품제작 과정에서 연구하려는 과제는 표현대상물에서의 이미지 전개를 위한 형식과 내용에 대한 연구와, 선의 이미지를 상징적으로 표현하기 위한 이론적 배경과 표현방법을 연구하고, 위의 이론적 배경을 토대로 염색작품으로서의 표현, 그 가능성의 모색과 제작된 작품의 분석 연구이다. 이와 같이 선의 이미지를 형상화하는 제작과정에서 얻은 결과를 요약하면, 첫째, 연구자의 체험과 주관에 따라 선의 이미지를 표현하는 과정에서, 율동적인 선의 이미지를 표현하는데 소재-풀잎, 나뭇잎, 새의 깃-선택이 적절하였다고 본다. 둘째, 번지기에 의한 기법과 부분적인 아크릴염료에 의한 묘사는 대상의 이미지 표현에 적합했다고 본다. 셋째, 선 이미지를 표현하는 체험과정에서 선이 공간에서 갖는 그 자체의 생명력을 느낄 수 있었다. 그러나, 이와 같은 제작과정에서 나타난 문제점으로는, 첫째, 중복해서 채색해야 하는 과정에서 적절한 염료의 양과 물의 비례를 맞추기가 어려웠다. 둘째, 물에 젖은 천의 상태와 마른 후의 발색에 있어, 염료의 특성 때문에 어려운 점이 많았다. 따라서, 계속적인 연구와 분석을 통하여 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있으리라 보며, 좀 더 다양한 염색공예의 조형적 표현의 가능성을 발견할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.;Being in full of pursuing the value as multiform formative arts, modern art forms its own peculiar world of works with infinite possibilities. Such a phenomenon is also shown in dyeing handicraft with few exceptions, then, not only an aesthetic object can be possible through developing new materials and expressive techniques, but various formative actions can be made owing to smoothness of its material. That is, today dyeing handicraft takes a firm position as a field of fine arts. It caused me to set up the subject of shaping rhythmical images of line, therefore, the purpose of this study was to pursue some possibilities of expression and aesthetic experiences through the image of object used, based upon theoretical back ground for the subject, using natural spreading effect that is the attribute of fabrics. The tasks to be examined in the process of making works were : to do research the form and substance to unfold the image in expressive object ; to study the theoretical background and expressive techniques for the purpose of symbolic expression of linear image, and ; to express a complete dyeing work on the basis of the background, in parallel with groping for its possibilities and analyzing the work. In the shaping process of linear image above-mentioned, the results obtained were as follows : 1) It seems that material selection (grass leaf, tree leaf, and plumage) was appropriate to express the rhythmical linear image, in the process of expression of linear image according to my experiences and subjective point of view. 2) Both the technique through spreading aid the description by means of acrylic dyes partly were fit for the expression of the image of object. 3) The vitality in itself which line took in the space could be sensed in the process of experience to express linear image. Some problems, however, were shown in such a process of making work as follows : 1) It was difficult to make the proportion of water to the amount of dyes appropriately in the process of overlapping coloration. 2) On account of the charactistic of dyes, many difficulties were shown in the state of fabrics wet in water and in the color development after drying. Consequently, incessant researches and analyses should be made in future to solve these problems and to discover more multi form possibilities of formative expression of dyeing handicraft.
