幾何學的 形態의 運動感 表現

Abstract

藝術에 있어서 生命力은 중요한 美的 要素이다. 藝術作品이 力動的일때 우리는 강한 生命感을 느낀다. 움직인다는 것은 곧 살아있음을 意味하기 때문이다. 그러므로 藝術作品이 生命力을 가질때 비로소 그것을 보는 사람의 注意를 換氣하여 感動시키고 感染시킬 수 있는 것이다. 幾何學的 形態는 數學的 秩序에 의해 簡潔하게 疑縮된 形態로서 自然의 모습을 보다 直接 的으로 描寫할 수 있게 해주며 含蓄的 意味를 內包하기도 한다. 그러나 자와 콤파스에 의해 그려질 수 있는 幾河學的 形態의 規則的이고 整理된 性質은 때로는 우리에게 기계적인 딱딱함을 느끼게 한다. 本 硏究에서는 이러한 無機的인 幾何學的 形態에 運動感이라는 有機的 形式을 附與하여 運動感에서 느낄 수 있는 曲線的 이미지를 結合시킴으로서 幾何學的 形態의 定型性을 脫皮하고 生動感을 附與하는 作業을 陶磁作品을 통해 시도해 보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 幾何學的 形態에 대한 一般的인 考察과 아울러 運動感이 視知學 現象으로 나타날 때 그 視學的 效果를 살펴보고 그러한 效果가 藝術作品에서는 어떻게 表現되어 왔는가를 文獻을 통해 考察하였다. 作品製作을 위해 幾何學的 形態의 種類를 平面과 立體로 分類하고 立體에서 뿔체와 기둥체, 그리고 球의 形態를 基本形態로 採擇하였다. 作品製作에서는 삼각, 사각, 다각, 원의 形態로 분류된 뿔체와 기둥체, 그리고 球의 形態에 運動感을 附與하여 生動的인 느낌을 表現하고자 하였다. 製作方法은 簡潔性과 精密性의 表現을 위해 泥奬注入技法으로 統一하여 製作하였다. 이와같이 本 硏究者는 幾何學的 形態의 運動感 表現을 위한 造形作業을 통하여 흙이라는 素材로 이루어질 수 있는 보다 폭 넓은 隣磁造形의 可能性을 模索하고자 하였다.;The vital powers of art can be said to be one of the most important aesthetic elements of itself. The fact that a work of art has the vital powers shows that it, at the same time, contains dynamic effects in the wake of themselves; moving implies, in other words, living. Therefore, a work of art may arouse a viewer's attention and impress him profoundly only when it fills with vitality Geometrical form, as a concisely condensed one with mathematical precision, not only enables a veiled figure of nature to be described more directly but involves an implied significance of nature. But, the regular and stereotyped properties of geometrical form drawn by a ruler or by a pair of compasses may sometimes make a viewer of it feel mechanical rigidity. In this thesis, by endowing inorganic system of a geometrical form with organic one, and by combining it with a curbed line image, so as to break from the conventional regularity of a geometrical form and vitalize it. I have tried to accomplish my thematic object through the work of ceramics. For the above mentioned subject, I have made general researches about a geometrical form, also studied the visual effects when the sense of movement is presented through visual phenomena, and analyzed how such effects are expressed especially in the work of ceramics through the thematically related reference books. For the production of the ceramic work, I have classified the kinds of geometrical form into a plane and a solid, and chosen the form of a cone and a cylinder and a sphere as a basci one. In the process of making the work, I have bended my efforts to express dynamic sense by endowing a cone and a cylinder classified into a triangular form, a guadrangular form, a polygmal form, a circular form and sphere with sense of movement The making-method of the work is unified as slip casting for the expression of conciseness and compactness of geometrical form. In this method, I have groped to exceed the Limit of the materials of clay and to broaden the prospect of ceramic art.
