한국 전통 造型物에 나타난 기하형태의 변형

Abstract

In the traditional Korean plastic things, the geometric forms appear with variety. These shapes are worth studying plastically. The purpose of this research is to express and analyze the geometric form that appears in the traditional Korean plastic things, which was deformed by using the roof curved line. The contents are consisted by approaching to the plasticity of geometry abstract and the roof curved line from the geometric form that appears in the traditional Korean plastic things. Also, the production of the works is expressed in abstract form and analyzed plastically. The method of the research is done with referring the sundry records and making the works with analysis. The seven works suggested as the subject of study are made by subjective expression and analyzed through the optic character. The result of this research is as follow: first, The combination of the straight lines and the curved lines, the outlines of the geometric form results the feeling of rise and fall towards the mass composed by producing the propotional tension. second, The mass produced by the curved lines, with a direction as sensible space, results the extension of space. third, The masses as part result the unity of horizontal form. As mentioned above, the geometric forms appeared in the Korean traditional plastic things, deformed mostly by the Korean roof curved line, expressed abstract form with particular sensation of rise and falling movement, extension space and the unity of horizontal form.;한국 전통 조형물에서 기하학적 형태는 다양하게 나타난다. 이러한 형태를 조형적으로 분석해 볼 필요가 있다. 本 연구의 목적은 한국 전통 조형물에 나타난 기하학적 형태를 지붕 곡선을 중심으로 변형하여 표현하고 분석하는데 있다. 연구의 내용은 기하 추상의 조형성과 한국 전통 조형물에 나타난 기하학적 형태를 지붕 곡선을 중심으로 검토하였고, 작품 제작은 추상 형태로 하였으며, 조형적으로 분석하였다. 연구의 방법은 문헌 조사와 작품 제작 및 분석을 병행하였고, 분석 대상으로 제시된 작품은 7점이며, 표현 주관에 의하여 나타난 시각적 특성을 분석하였다. 연구의 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기하학적 형태의 외곽을 이루는 직선과 곡선의 결합은 비례상의 긴장을 조성하여 형성된 mass의 방향으로 상승·하강하는 운동감을 나타낸다. 둘째, 곡면으로 형성된 mass는 知覺 공간으로서의 방향을 가지고 공간의 연장을 표현한다. 세째, 부분으로서의 각 mass들은 유기적으로 연결되어 통일성을 이루는 수평 구조를 형성한다. 이와 같이 한국 전통 조형물에 나타난 기하학적 형태를 지붕 곡선을 중심으로 변형하여 표현한 결과, 상승 하강하는 운동감, 공간의 연장, 유기적 수평구조의 특성을 지닌 추상 형태로 표현되었다.
