都市空間의 現代的 表現

Abstract

繪畵란 본질적으로 時代的 狀況과 周邊環境을 反映하는 特性을 지닌다. 우리의 韓國畵 역시 서구미술의 影響과 時代的 變化로 인해, 現代的 造形感覺으로써 새롭게 표현되고 있다. 그러므로 그동안 과거의 傳統 山水畵에서 터부시 되어왔던 과감한 實驗등이, 새로운 視覺과 感覺으로, 과거에는 非造形的인 대상이라고 생각되었던 우리 周邊의 生活空間을 現代的 造形空間으로서 새롭게 解析하고 있다. 本人의 作品 역시 東洋畵라는 단순한 과거의 傳統的 樣式에서 벗어나 現代的 價値槪念으로 대상을 選擇하여, 이를 새로운 造形感覺으로 表現하기 위해 나름대로 다양한 試圖를 通한 주관적 화면을 형성하고자 하였다. 硏究의 內容으로는 都市風景이 갖는 造形空間으로서의 意味를, 素材克服과 空間解析 變化와 象徵的인 意味를 通해 살펴보았으며, 이러한 內容的 硏究에 根據하여 方法的인 硏究로서는 都市空間에 있어 造形的 變形을 試圖한 작가들의 작품을 본인의 작품과 比較 硏究하여 보았다. 그리하여 本人의 作品制作에 있어 一連의 方法的 試圖들이 畵面上 어떻게 表現되었으며, 그 문제점들은 무엇인가에 대해 새롭게 인식하여 앞으로의 作品活動에 도움이 되고자 하였다.;A painting essentially has he character that reflects the contemporary situation and environment. The Korean painting accordingly is expressed newly by the modern formative sense, owing to the effections of western fine-arts and periodical changes. And some initiative tries that seem to have been avoided on the Oriental landscapes show a different interpretation on our environmental living-space, which take the living-space that has been thought to be a non-formative object for the modern formative space by the help of new vision and sense. In this context, I tried to break free of the traditional style of Oriental painting, select objects by the idea of modern value, and express them with the modern formative sense so that I might produce the subjective look of picture through the various attempts by myself. And to investigate the meaning of urban space as formative space in view of its symbolical meaning, the changes of space-interpretation, and overcoming the limitation of subject matter is my subject of study. Also, for the technical study, I investigated the works of some artists who attempted the formative metamorphosis by means of comparing those with mine. On the basis of this, I was purposed to improve the next production by understanding how the technical tries in my working are expressed on the picture and what the problems are.
