우리나라 도시여성의 기성복 색채계획에 관한 연구

Abstract

This study was started with the wish to contribute to such a systematic and all-inclusive color merchandising that could control ways of color choice successfully rendering implications of existing color theories to Korean Women's Clothes by its own harmonizing nature as something beyond our everyday practices of merely imitating or following in foreign fashions or informations. Particularly these points were thought to be unneglectable: That facial form and skin color would play an important role as essential elements in determining the atmosphere of the both of clothing or dressers, and that various racial color distinctions would also vary the color harmony in clothes. Hence, this research program has become to stand upon the theoretical basis of that the color selecting way harmoniously accorded with perceived facial color is an important factor in choosing the most harmonious color of clothes. From This viewpoint, first, analysis of facial color of our urban women has been conducted by means of Chroma Meter CR-200, and, second, theories upon the role, function and harmonic effect in every color have been investigated, and, together with it, finally, ranges of cloth color which is most harmonious to the facial color could be determined. Results are as follows: 1. The facial color of our urban women is at the mean of 4.7 YR 6.2/13.4. And the standard deviation of it is ± 0.2 - 0.4, for it was measured regardless of their possible making-up. 2. Ranges of color harmony with facial color are as follows: A. Hue a. similarity harmony ranges: 2.5R-7.5R, 2.5Y-7.5Y b. contrast harmony ranges: 2.5G-5BG, 5PB-7.5P, 5BG-5PB B. Value a. similarity harmony ranges: 4.7-5.7, 6.7-7.7 b. contrast harmony ranges: 0-4.2, 8.2-10 C. Chroma a. similarity harmony ranges: 0-0.4, 6.4-8.4 b. contrast harmony ranges: above 10.4 3. When scheming color by dividing the area of clothes into two areas upon the basic data of color harmony ranges above mentioned, extracted color choice ways with contrast harmony and those of coloring are like these: A. Regular three-color harmony: As a way of harmonizing the three colors having equal degree of hue distinction, it has 32.5-35 of hue distinctions(4.7YR : 2.2P : 7,2G). B. Golden-rate three-color harmony: As a way of harmonizing with 1 : 1.162 of golden rate, its hue distinction rate is 19 : 31 : 50(4.7YR : 4.7B : 4.7GY). C. Equal-sides three-color harmony: When the distances to the other two colors from one centered color are at the same, the hue distinction is to be 20 or 40℃(4.7YR : 4.7RP : 4.7GY, 4.7YR : 4.7P : 4.7BG). D. Equal-rate three-color harmony: As that of having equal hue distinctions of the three colors in regular order, acceptable degrees of the distinction with chosen color are 25, 57.5(4.7YR : 9.8GY : 2.2PB). In conclusion, it is suggested that more systematic and professional color merchandising which can be more harmonizing should be achieved by appropriate selecting colors upon the basic data of forementioned color ranges, making the aspects of harmony between facial color and cloth color as those of the essential starting point of practices beyond the attitudes blindly accepting all the colors in fashion every season expressed.;본 연구는 우리나라의 기성복 업체가 색채 계획을 함에 있어서 해외 정보나 유행에 대하여 단순히 모방이나 추종에 그칠 것이 아니라 색채 이론의 실질적인 적용을 통하여 우리나라 여성의 의생활에 조화를 이룰 수 있는 색채 선정을 할 수 있도록 의상에서의 색채 계획이 체계적이고 총괄적으로 이루어지는데 기여할 것을 목적으로 하는 것이다. 의상은 인체와는 불가분의 관계를 맺고 있다. 특히, 얼굴의 형태와 피부색은 의상과 착용자의 분위기를 결정하는 중요한 요소로 작용하며 인종마다 각기 다른 피부색의 차이는 의상의 색채 조화를 다양하게 만든다. 따라서 우리나라 여성에게 가장 어울리는 의상색을 선택하기 위해서는 얼굴 피부색과 시각적으로 어울리는 색의 선택이 중요하다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 색채 색차계(Chroma Meter CR-200)를 이용하여 우리나라 도시 여성의 얼굴 피부색을 측정하고 둘째로 색채의 역할, 기능 및 조화에 대한 이론을 파악하였으며 셋째로, 여성의 얼굴 피부색과 조화를 이루는 의상의 색채 범위를 선정하였다. 이에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 우리나라 도시 여성의 얼굴 피부색은 평균 4.7 YR 6.2/3.4이다. 이는 성인 여성 대부분이 화장을 하고 있기 때문에 화장 실시여부에 관계없이 측정한 것으로 이에 대한 표준 편차는 ± 0.2 ~ 0.4 이다. 2. 얼굴 피부색에 대한 색채 조화의 범위는 다음과 같다. 가. 색상 (1) 유사조화 범위 : 2.5 R ~ 7.5 R, 2.5 Y ~ 7.5 Y (2) 대비조화 범위 : 2.5 G ~ 5.0 BG, 5.0 PB ~ 7.5P, 5.0 BG ~ 5.0 PB 나. 명도 (1) 유사조화 범위 : 4.7 ~ 5.7, 6.7 ~ 7.7 (2) 대비조화 범위 : 0 ~ 4.2, 8.2 ~ 10 다. 채도 (1) 유사조화 범위 : 0 ~ 0.4, 6.4 ~ 8.4 (2) 대비조화 범위 : 10.4이상 3. 2에서 제시되어진 색채 조화의 범위를 기초 자료로 하여 의상의 면적을 둘로 나누어 배색하는 경우에 대비조화를 이루는 색채 선택 방법과 이에 따른 배색은 다음과 같다. 가. 정 3색조화 등간격의 차를 가진 3색을 조화시킨 것으로 색상차는 32.5 ~ 35이다. 4.7 YR : 2.2 P: 7.2G 나. 황금비 3색조화 황금비례 1 : 1.162로 조화를 이루는 것으로 색상차는 19 : 31 : 50이 된다. 4.7 YR : 4.7 B : 4.7 GY 다. 등변 3색조화 한 색을 중심으로 하여 나머지 두 색의 거리가 같은 경우로 색상차는 20 또는 40이다. 4.7 YR : 4.7 RP 4.7 GY, 4.7 YR : 4.7 P : 4.7 BG 라. 등비 3색조화 3색이 순차적으로 변하여 가는 것으로 색상차는 선택색과 25의 차이와 57.5의 차이가 무난하다. 4 7 YR : 9.8 GY : 2.2 PB 그러므로 우리나라 성인 여성에게 어울리는 의상색 선정은 얼굴의 피부색과 의상색의 조화를 기본적인 출발점으로 삼아 매 시즌(Season)마다 발표되는 유행색을 무조건적으로 받아들일 것이 아니라 위에서 제시되어진 색채 범위를 기초 자료로 하여 유행색을 선별함으로서 우리나라 사람에게 보다 더 잘 어울릴 수 있는 체계적이고 전문적인 색채 계획이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
