가정생산의 가치산정을 위한 이론적 접근

Abstract

In the materialistic societies, individuals get money return according to the importance of their roles. But unlike wage workers who are engaged in market production, housewives engaged in home production do not get that return. It is because the result of home production is not transacted in the market and the price is not given to it, so the value of home production is not estimated. But home production is not lag behind in market production in worker number who are engaged and time amount which is spent in that activity. Also it has great significance in home and social aspect. Hence this study recognizes again the value of home production, suggests the estimation methods of it in input and output based on home production systems and attempts to actualize those methods socially. Home production is a activity which is accomplished to meet the need of family members and to function them as a unit of a family. They say that home producation is reduced according to technological, economic development, but only its contents and forms are changed, home production has continued nowadays. This fact is confirmed that time input in home production is not reduced compared with the past. This home production develops the human attribute of family members to act as a member of a society and potentially contributes to home income and Gross National Product, so it has social and economic value. In spite of that significance, the value of home production is not estimated, so its importance is not recognized and housewives engaged in home production are not acknowledged their ability. Hence based on home production systems from input to output, this study suggested opportunity cost method and market cost method in input, method by saving money expenditure, hybrid method and method by comparing with market price in output. Using these methods, we inspire the value of home production and acknowledge housewives' ability, so we can lead to continue home production and maintain stable home life. In the Future, to estimate the value of home production exactly, Methodological examination involved analysing home production systems should be accomplished.;오늘날의 물질중심적 사회에서 개인은 그가 수행하는 역할의 중요도에 따라 화폐적 댓가를 받게 되나, 시장생산에 참여하는 임금노동자들과 달리 가정생산에 참여하는 주부들은 그러한 대가를 받지 못한다. 이것은 가정생산의 결과가 시장에서 거래되지 않고 가격이 부여되지 않음으로써 가정생산의 가치가 산정되지 못하고 있기 때문이다. 그러나 가정생산은 그 활동에 참여하는 노동자의 수나 소비되는 시간에 있어서 시장생산에 뒤지지 않으며 가정과 사회적 측면에서 매우 큰 의의를 갖는다. 그러므로 본 연구는 가정생산의 가치를 재인식하고 가정생산체계에 근거하여 투입면과 산출면에서 그것의 가치를 산정하는 방법들을 제시하고 그 방법들을 사회적으로 실현시키려 하였다. 가정생산은 가족구성원들의 욕구를 충족시키고 그들이 가족이라는 하나의 단위로서 기능을 할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 수행되는 활동이다. 이러한 가정생산은 기술·경제의 발달로 점차 축소되고 있다고 인식되나, 단지 그 내용과 형태가 변화했을 뿐 가정생산은 현재까지 지속되고 있으며 이것은 그 활동에 투입되는 시간이 과거에 비해 감소하지 않았다는 사실에 의해 확인된다. 한편 가정생산은 가족구성원들로 하여금 사회의 일원으로서 활동할 수 있도록 그들의 인적 속성을 발전시켜줄 뿐 아니라, 잠재적으로 가정소득과 국민총생산에 기여하므로 사회적이고 경제적인 가치를 갖는다. 이와 같이 가정생산이 매우 중요한 가치를 가짐에도 불구하고 그것이 산정되지 않음으로써 가정생산의 중요성이 인식되지 않고 있으며 그 활동에 참여하는 주부들도 그들의 능력을 사회적으로 인정받지 못하고 있다. 따라서 가정생산의 가치산정을 위해 투입으로부터 산출에 이르는 가정생산체계에 근거하여 투입면에서의 산정방법으로 기회비용방법과 시장비용방법을 산출면에서의 방법으로 절약된 화폐지출에 의한 방법, 혼성적방법, 시장가격과 비교하는 방법 등을 제시하였다. 이러한 방법들을 통하여 가정생산의 가치를 사회적으로 고취시키고 주부들의 능력을 인정해줌으로써 지속적인 가정생산을 통해 안정된 가정생활을 유지할 수 있도록 하여야 한다. 앞으로 가정생산의 가치를 정확하게 산정할 수 있도록 가정생산체계에 대한 분석을 포함한 좀 더 세부적인 방법론적 고찰이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
