Human body as a dominant theme in sculpture can vividly call forth human experiences and has been a constant concern to artists since it could express the thought and emotion which all men would pursue. However, it is a natural consequence that art which it to be developed by the dominant thoughts of the times or environment changes with the tendency of the times. In the rapidly changing circumstances entering into the 20th century, therefore, the formation work which had only pursued the beauty of human body in common with deformative nature in beauty has been deformed and distorted, further, figured into more analytical forms. This study aims at expressing the deformation of dynamic image obtained from changes in the curvature of the spine with its analysis. As for contents, the deformation of human body according to the curvature of the spine was analyzed, theorizing in anatomical and art-historical sides, and in making works a dynamic image of curved form in spine on the theme of mature woman body was expressed, further, through the stage of omission and simplification, a rhythm in tensed and relaxed movement was expressed organically. This study was performed with literature study and reference works selected, and analyzed the characteristics found in deformation of human body from the viewpoint of art history and those in curved form from anatomical side in the curvature of the spine. And in analyzing works human body with a dynamic image was analyzed from the side of deformation by materials and techniques with making works as its fundamental instrument. The conclusions obtained are: the expression of human body in curved form in spine showed changes and variety in the mode of expression; through making works actually a possibility could be expected in the range of application of future expression of dynamic image.;彫刻의 支配的 주제인 人體는 人間의 體驗을 생생하게 喚起시켜 줄 수 있고, 인간이 추구하는 思想과 感精을 表現해 주므로 예술가의 끊임없는 觀心의 對象이었다. 그러나 그 時代나 環境의 支配的 思想에 의해서 展開되는 藝術은 時代의 變化에 따라 變貌되는 것은 當然한 結果이다. 그러므로 美의 變容性과 더불어 人體의 아름다움만을 追求해 오던 造形化 作業이 20세기에 접어들어 急變하는 시대 狀況속에서 變形, 歪曲되어 보다 分析的 形態들로 形象化 되어갔다. 本 硏究의 目的은 脊椎彎曲의 變化를 통해 얻어진 動的이미지의 變形을 表現하고 分析하는데 있다. 本 硏究의 內容은 脊椎彎曲에 따른 人體 變形을 美術史的, 解剖學的 側面으로 理論을 展開하여 分析하고, 作品 制作은 成熟한 女體를 主題로 하여 그것의 彎曲된 脊椎形態의 動的 이미지를 表現하였고, 省略과 單純化 과정을 통해 緊張, 弛緩된 動勢의 律動을 有機的으로 表現하였다. 本 硏究의 方法은 문헌조사와 參考作品을 標集하여 美術史的으로 본 人體變形의 特徵과 脊椎彎曲의 解剖學的 측면에서 彎曲形態의 特性을 分析하였으며 作晶制作을 基本道具로 作品分析은 動的이미지의 人體를 變形의 側面에서 材料와 技法에 따라 造形的으로 分析하였다. 本 硏究에서 얻어진 結論으로 彎曲된 척추형태의 人體表現은 變化와 表現 樣式의 多樣性을 보여 주었고 실제 作品制作을 통하여 앞으로 動的이미지 表現의 응용범위에 대한 可能性을 기대할 수 있게 되었다.
