陶藝를 通한 구름의 造形 硏究

Abstract

人類가 아름다움을 童敬하고 追究하기 시작한 以來 自然은 끊임없는 表現의 對象이 되어 왔다. 이는 人間의 造形行爲를 통하여 自己表現을 具體化하는 一聯의 과정으로 이를 통해 再創造된 自然은 다양하게 변형되어 藝術의 形式으로 人間과 自然을 一元化하는 새로운 有機的 관계를 성립하게 되었다. 특히 생활필수품인 用器로 부터 精神的 藝術的 表現으로 具體化된 陶磁藝術은 본질상 한 나라의 藝術과 精緖를 평가하는 基準으로 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 本 硏究에서는 이러한 陶磁藝術을 통하여 自然의 한 要素로써 象徵的 意味를 지닌 구름에 대한 造形的 表現을 試圖하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 구름이 지닌 精神的 意味를 紋樣의 形式을 통해 考察하는 同時에 現代 陶藝 作品에 表現된 實列를 分析 硏究함으로 作品製作의 理論的 背景을 삼았다. 또한 作品製作을 위하여 흙이 지닌 可塑性과 造形言語로서의 可能性을 최대한 활용하여 生動感있는 구름의 구체적 이미지를 形象化하고 單純 變形된 形態로 再構成함으로써 內面에 生命力을 附與한 創造的인 造形의 世界를 摸索하고자 하였다. 그 方法으로 석고형을 이용한 鑄入成形, 물레成形, 模型製作法 및 粘土板에 의한 成形을 竝行하여 立體로 이미지를 構成하고 形態에 적절한 방법론을 선택하여 흙을 통해 表現할 수 있는 다양한 經驗을 體得함으로써 本 硏究者의 內面世界를 具體化하고 그 領域을 擴大하고자 하였다.;Nature has been the object of expression eversince man began to long for and seek beauty. This, being a series of process where man makes self-expression concrete through formative work, has established a new critical relationship in which the nature, recreated and transformed in many ways as a result of the process, come to unification with man as a form of art. Ceramic Art, made concrete in spiritual, religious, and artistic expression through a vessel which is a daily necessity, is of great importance as a basis for judging the art and feeling of a nation. In this study, the formative expression of cloud design that holds a symbolical significance, being an emblematic element of the nature, has been attempted through the work of Ceramic Art. For the attempt, I studied the spiritual significance of cloud design through its form and took the analysis of a sample of modern ceramic work as the theoritical foundation of the work. The variable usage and the ability as formative language of clay has been maximumly applied in the work process, in order to form the movemental and animational image of cloud and reform into simple form, thus searching for the world of creative formation to which life is given. With the above method, the image was formed into a solid body by the use of gesso pattern-moulding, wheel forming, modeling, and slab building. And, by experiencing the various techniques of expression through clay and proper measures, I attempted to make concrete and broaden my inner world.
