부·모와의 분리가 아동의 정서장해에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 부·모 분리아의 정서반응을 몇가지 조건에 따라 고찰하여 학교상황에서 일어나는 부·모분리로 인한 정서장해적 영향을 밝혀내는데 그 목적이 있으며, 본 연구적 의의는 모분리에 대한 부정적 영향 뿐만 아니라 부분리에 대한 연구를 추가함로써 가정 내에서의 부·모 분리아에 대한 유의한 정보를 얻어 모·자녀 관계와 아울러 지금까지 비교적 경시되어온 부·자녀 관계 연구의 실증적 증거를 얻고자 하는 데 있다. 본 연구가 규명하고자 하는 연구문제는 ①부·모 분리아와 정상 가정아의 정서 장해의 차이 ②부분리와 모분리의 정서장해의 차별적 영향 ③부분리 형태, 모분리 형태에 따른 정서장해의 영향 ④대리모성의 존재유무에 따른 아동의 정서장해의 영향 ⑤상기한 문제들이 아동의 성별, 분리시기, 분리기간에 따라 아동의 정서장해에 어떻게 다른 영향을 끼치는가 등 5가지이다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위하여 사용된 도구는 연구문제를 분류하기 위한 「문제영역분류자료」와 「아동의 정서반응 조사 척도」인데 연구대상은 일산, 부천, 인천 3개 도시의 4개 국민교 4, 5, 6학년 학생으로서 부·모와 영구적 분리를 한지 1년이상 경과된 부분리아 116, 모분리아 51명 그리고 정상가정아 178명이 표집되었다. 자료처리는 문제영역별로 소점의 평균(M)과 표준편차(SD)를 구하고 각각 t검증및 도표화하여 집단 간의 정서장해의 차이를 알아 보았다. 본 연주에서 취급한 각 연구영역별 문제들의 통계처리 결과를 중심으로 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. ① 부·모의 분리는 아동의 정서장해에 유의한 영향을 미친다. ② 부·모의 분리는 아동의 정서장해에 선별적인 영향을 주지않는다. ③ a.부분리는 남아에게 그 영향이 크며, 남아는 초기의 부분리의 영향이 후기의 부분리의 영향보다 크고, 여아는 초기의 부분리보다는 후기의 부분리가 더 심각하다. b. 모분리는 남아보다는 여아의 정서장해에 미치는 영향이 더욱 크며 남·녀아 모두 초기의 분리가 후기의 분리보다 심각하고 분리기간이 길어짐에 따라 그 영향도 심화되어간다. 따라서 부·모 분리시기, 분리기간은 아동의 성별과 유의한 상호 작용관계에 있다. ④ 부·모와의 영구적 분리에 있어서 분리형태는 아동의 정서장해에 선별적 영향을 주지 않으며 분리형태와 아동의 성별 간에도 유의한 양호 작용이 없다. ⑤ 대리모성의 형태 역시 아동의 정서장해에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는다.;The purpose of this study is to clarify the effect on emotional disorder of child in school situation which may be influenced by separation from father or mother. Based on the theoretical and empirical studies that support the importance of early environmental influence upon the developmental characteristics of children, the study hypothesizes separation from parents as a traumatic experience results in the negative effects on emotional disorder of children. The problems of the study are specifically as follows; 1. What is the differential effect between children separated from father or mother and children from normal families on their emotional disorder? 2. What is the differential effect between separation from father and separation from mother on emotional disorder of child? 3. What is the differential effect between the patterns of separation, that is, father's death and divorce, and mother's death and divorce, on emotional disorder of child? 4. What is the effect that may be influenced by providing of mother substitute after loss of mother on emotional disorder of child? 5. What is the differential effect of above mentioned things as sex of separated children, age of children when they were separated from their father or mother and separation term on their emotional disorder? To seccure answers to the proposed problems, 166 upper grade elementary students who had experienced separation from their father or mother for more than one year and 178 students from normal families were used as subjects from 4 schools in Il-san, Bu-cheon and In-cheon city located in Kyong-gi province. And data for classification of above problems and Scale for examination of children's emotional response produced by researcher was used to as measure level of emotional disorder for both separated and normal groups. The important findings derived from this study are as follows: 1. Children's experience of paternal separation affects meaningful influence on their emotional disorder. 2. Father's separation or mother's separation does not have differential effect on children's emotional disorder. 3. There is meaning interaction among separation time, separation term and children's sex on emotional disorder. 4. There is no meaningful interaction between the patterns of separation and children's sex on emotional disorder. 5. There is no meaningful interaction between the patterns of mother substitute and children's emotional disorder.
