태극과 형태변형에 관한 연구

Abstract

현대추상미술은 작가의 개별적이고 주관적인 표현으로 다양하게 나타나고 있다. 동양 古來의 太極圖와 太極圖說은 宇宙의 生成變化의 원리를 直觀에 의해 視覺的인 측면에서 分析할 필요가 있다고 본다. 本 硏究의 目的은 태극도설의 의미와 그 構造的인 特性에 準據하여 抽象形態로 표현하고 그 조형적인 특성을 분석하는 데 있다. 本 硏究의 內容은 天附經과 주돈신의 太極圖說, 그리고 太極線의 意味에 관해 검토하였고 作品制作에 있어서는 太極形態의 시각적인 특성과 조형적인 변형을 근거로 하여 변형된 태극형태로 표현하였고, 조형적인 관점에 따라 분석하였다. 本 硏究의 方法은 文獻調査와 作品制作 및 分析을 병행하였다. 분석대상은 7점이고 작품을 시각적으로 분석하였다. 硏究의 結果를 綜合하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 太極圖에서 陰·陽 封로 나누어진 태극형이 3차원의 형태로 轉換되었을 때, 量의 變化와 求心的 空間·遠心的 空間을 암시하는 변형된 太極形態로 표현되었다. 둘째, 태극형태에서 긴장감과 운동감을 강조하는 面이 調合된 운동으로 나타났다. 셋째, 反復된 형태의 重量은 태극형태 자체가 갖는 운동감과 공간감을 강조하였고, 大小量塊의 반복된 형태는 반복과 변화의 Image를 창출하였다. 넷째, 主觀的인 感性에 의해 변형된 태극형태는 공간의 변화를 가져오며, 태극형태에서의 凹凸의 상호작용의 특성을 강조하기 위해 면과 양괴의 집합을 이루어 형성된 형태는 상대적 관계의 Image와 回轉運動을 동시에 표현한다. 이와같이 太極圖에서 3차원적인 구조의 기하학적인 형태로 변형된 태극형태는 양괴의 변화와 공간위치의 變更에 따라 변화있는 반복과 상대적 회전운동을 포함한 다양한 형태로 표현되었다.;The modern abstract art, the diversity of the forms of expression comes from the Characters, both individual and subjective, apear with the artist. According to the theory of the Great Absolute that one of the longest standing in the chines philosophy, in aspect of the sense of the sight, the principle of the ever-changing of the universe, this study is an attempt to express, based on it's meaning and structural character, the figures of the G.A. in the abstractive forms, on the other hand, the essence of this study consists in its visual aspects to analyze these forms. And furthermore, the content of this study researched with the meaning of the G.A. - curve, and the G.A. theory of D.E. Joo and Korean bible's chun Boo-Kyung. In producing the works, it expressed by the visual characters and the transfigured G.A.-Configures of the plastic-artical analyze of the view. The method of the study is to refer to documents and to make, analyze the works realized at the same. The objections of the analysis are 7 pieces of works, analyzed with the visual perception points the result of this study will be summarized as follows. 1) When the transformation have third-dimensional configures in the G.A. - figures divided from the negative and positive of the mass, the G.A. - configures expressed to the transfigured G.A. that a hint changing of mass and in the space centripetal and centrifugal. 2) in G.A.C., the sense of tension and movement, both emphasize mixing configures of a flatsurface and had making configures of a small mass, the transfigures Seems to diversely in the space and movement. 3) the relation of the repeated configures emphasis the sense of space and movement in G.A. - figures its, the repeated configures have a small and large mass created a image of repeatment and changing it. 4) the transfigures G.A. by subjective sensibility of artist bringing about the space the configures have made by the collection of a mass and the flat-surface for emphasize visually expressed a image of mate-relation and turning movement at the same time. Thus, the transfigured abstractive configures, by the third-dimensional structure have a changing of turning movement and space-place, expressed diversely according to all sorts material characters.
