도시호텔 컨벤션홀 디자인 과정에 관한 연구

Abstract

현대 사회에서는 사회, 문화, 정치, 경제 등 모든 분야에서 뿐만아니라 국가의 한계를 넘어서 세계적 차원에 이르기까지 보다 효율적인 정보 교류의 필요성이 증대되고 있으며, 이에 도시 호텔의 컨벤션 홀(convention hall)은 집회, 회의, 모임, 연회 등 인간의 직접적인 교류를 위한 전문 편익 시설로서 그 중요도가 인식되고 있다. 그러므로 보다 과학적인 의사 교류의 보조 설비와 다양한 규모의 쾌적한 공간 환경으로 디자인 되어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문은 이러한 시대적 요구에 부합하는 컨벤션 홀의 디자인을 주제로 하며, 그 방법에 있어 현존 도시 호텔 중 컨벤션 흘의 입지환경으로서의 적지를 선정하고, 기존 호텔에 컨벤션 기능을 부가하여 미래적 시점에서 강화, 확장시키는 리노베이션(renovation) 과정으로 디자인을 전개시켰다. 그 디자인 전개 과정은 다음과 같이 요약된다. 1. 본 연구의 목적을 인간 주체의 공간이라는 기준 하에서 설정하여 그에 적합한 연구방법 및 그 범위를 한정시켰다. 2. 개방성과 구조적 복합성을 지닌 현대 도시 호텔의 특성과 상호보완 작용을 가지며, 인간 상호간의 의사 교류의 장으로서의 컨벤션 흘의 개념에 대해 그 근간이 되는 커뮤니케이션 이론을 배경으로 고찰하여 보았다. 3. 컨벤션 홀 공간 디자인의 기준이 되는 결정요인을 요소별로 분석, 체계화하였다. · 현대 사회의 국제적 요구 성향과 지역사회의 요구사항을 통계적 자료를 통해 그 요구도의 증가추세를 입증하였다. · 호텔 또한 하나의 영리 추구를 위한 기업체이므로 호텔 경영과 마케팅 전략상 통합적인 기업 이미지하에서 컨벤션 홀에 요구되는 공간 기준을 분석, 종합하였다. · 인간적 척도에 의한 물리적 환경 구성을 위해 행사별 다목적 기능을 갖는 행위 패턴을 기능별로 분석하여 그에 따른 필요 공간을 설정하였다. · 기존 호텔에 컨벤션 기능을 보완시킨 공간 구성과 건축적 조형 과정을 위해 환경 미학적 관점에서 지각의 기본법칙과 형태 심리학적 체계를 근간으로 접근하였다. 4. 기존 호텔의 집회기능에 대한 사례를 조사하고 현황을 종합 분석하여 그 장단점을 디자인 기준에 적용시켰다. 5. 이러한 프로그래밍 과정을 통해 종합된 디자인 기준에 따라 대상지를 선정하고 창조적 대안을 시각화하는 디자인 과정을 전개시켰다. · 대상지의 적지 분석 결과를 기초로 최적의 증축 대지와 규모를 산정하고, · 주변 환경과 조화를 이루며, 기존 호텔의 조형적 질서를 포괄하는 증축과정을 통해 good gestalt로의 건축 형태를 도출시키며 그 내부에 메인 컨벤션 홀(main convention hall)을 중심으로한 공간 계획을 체계적으로 종합하여 호텔 내외부의 환경을 새롭고 발전적인 통합체로 디자인 하였다.;The necessity which exchange the effective informations in modern society are in the process of growing up only for social, cultural, political, and economical fields but also the international levels. Accordingly, as a convenient place for exchanging human's relationships directly, convention hall should be desingned in view of a pleasant environment which is supported more scientific ＆ supplementary places with a lot of scale. This paper describes the design of convention hall as main subject and explains the selection of the most optimal location among the existing city hotels. The paper also discusses the renovation process to strengthen the convention hall's function in view of the future and suggests improving the humanity and quality objectives in the process of designing. The summary of the design processes are as follow: 1. To estabish the objectives of this study as human space's criteria and its scope is defined the method and range of the study. 2. To describe the concept of convention hall as a place to exchange human-relationships based on the communication theory. 3. To analyze and systemize the decision parameters individually which is involved in the design criteria of the convention hall. · To examine the international trends of today's society and to analyze the regional community requirements based on the statistical data. · To analyze the space criteria of convention hall having the integrated coorpooration images which will have the characteristic of management and marketing strategy. · In order to construct the physical enviroment with the human criteria, should analyze the behavior patterns which have multi-purposes functionally and suggest the necessary space on that. · To adopt the Gestalt psychological schema and the perceptual laws for a esthetics in order to construct the space and creative process which compensate the convention features in existing hotels. 4. To show a case study of the convention features in existion hotels and analyze the status of work in this field. The results above are reflected in the design criteria with making up for defects. 5. To select the optimal locations in accordance with integrated design criteria through the programming process and cover the design process which visualize creative alter natives. · To calculate the scale and the optimal extention grounds of a building based on the result of analyzing possible locations. · To suggest the architectual in view of Good Gestalt covering the formative order and being in harmony with surrounding environments. The design of the interior and external appearance of hotels as a new integrated system in future is also described.
