敎會學校 敎育에 있어서 敎授媒體 活用에 關한 硏究

Abstract

J.D Smart는 "가르치지않는 교회는 교회의 本質을 잃은 교회이므로 사멸되고만다"라 하였다. 敎會學校 敎育의 效果는 言語만으로는 敎育的 效果를 올릴 수 없다. 敎授媒體를 活用하므로서 學生들에게 학습을 경험적이고 效果的 方法으로 유도하는 것이 교회학교에 있어서 학습 效果를 올릴 수 있다고 본다. 본硏究에서는 시청각 교수매체를 이용한 교육적효과와 현재 敎會學校에서 使用중인 敎會學校 공과 내용중 媒體內容을 조사분석하고 敎會學校 발전을 모색하는데 그 意義가 있으며 다음과 같은 目的으로 硏究하였다. 現在 敎會學校에서 사용되고 있는 계단공과가 갖는 학습진행에 있어서 敎授媒體 提示內容을 조사검토하고, 교회학교 敎育에 있어서 敎授媒體 活用時 학습효과에 미치는 영향을 조사연구하기 위하여 敎會學校 어린이 80명을 實驗集團과 統制集團으로 나누어 일정한 敎育內容으로 학습을 실시하여 實驗集團에게 視聽覺的 敎授媒體를 利用하여 敎育하였고, 統制集團에게는 재래식 교육 방법으로 敎授媒體없이 실시하여 두 集團 사이의 成績을 비교하는 실험교육을 실시하였다. 학생들에게 질문지 조사는 實驗集團 어린이들에게만 배부하여 학습 진행시 媒體活用에 對한 反應(흥미도, 이해도, 기억도, 관심도)을 조사하였다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 한국 內 敎會學校 敎育을 實施하는 전교단 敎會學校를 對象하지 못하고 特定敎會(대한 예수교 장로회 통합측 영락교회)에 속한교회학교 어린이들을 대상으로 조사한 制限点이 있다. 본 연구의 결과로는 현재 사용중인 계단공과는 교수매체를 충분히 제시 하지 못하고 있었다. 유년부의 계단공과 교수매체는 전체 156課中 전체의 29回의 그림제시로 그 提示횟수가 제일 많았으나 그것은 전체의 16.6% 밖에 안되는 아주낮은 활용도를 나타냈었다. 그 외에 매체활용은 10%를 넘지 못하였는데 더욱이 매체활용이 전혀 없는課가 전체의 66%나 되는 104課 이었다. 초등부의 계단공과도 유년부의 매체내용이 거의 비슷하게 나타났으며 "그림"제시나 "지도"제시에 있어서 그 활용도가 약간 높았고("그림 4回만, 지도 11回 많이 활용) 교수매체 없는課도 유년부의 교수매체보다 적은 전체의 73課이었다. 2. 실험연구의 결과는 사후 실험 성취도가 실험집단은 평균점수 82점, 통제집단은 62점으로 t검증한 결과(t=2.16 P＜0.05) 유의한 차가 두집단 사이에서 나타났다. 질문지에 대한 반응에서도 매체활용시 학습의 흥미도는 72.9%, 기억도는 60%, 이해도는 75%, 관심도 75%로 높은 비율로 나타났다. 그러므로 현재 사용중인 계단공과 교수매체가 충분히 제시되지 않았으며, 유년부와 초등부의 공과내용이나 교수매체시에 차이가 없고, 교수매체 활용시 학업 성취도가 높고, 매체 활용시 학습에 대한 흥미도, 이해도, 기억도, 반응도가 높다는 가설을 연구결과 입증할 수 있다. 이와 같이 본 계단공과의 바람직한 교수매체의 활용에 따른 修正의 必要性이 지적되었다. 하더라도 그 個個의 경우에서의 效果的이며 適切한 適用은 여전히 개발되어야 할 과제로 남아있다.;James D. Smart said, "The church that does not teach will die out, because it has lost its true nature." Church school education cannot be effective if it teaches only through words . If the church school teachers use the instructional media such as felt-board, slide projector, motion picture projector, maps and charts, the students in the church school would be taught more effectively and efficiently. In this study, I investigated and analyzed the effectiveness of the use of audio-visual media and the use which is currently being made of media and the content of the church school curriculum books, And also, I did research in the following purposes in the search for its meaning to the development of the church school. To investigate the use of educational media in the learning process of the curriculum materials currently being used in the church school, and in order to investigate the effects on learning effectiveness when we use the teaching media in the church education, 80 Sunday school children were divided into two groups in experimental group and a control group. The experiment was put into effect using selected educational contents. The experimental group was taught by using educational media, and the control group was taught in the traditional method. Both groups were then given the post test, the results of which were analysed in terms of T-Test. The questionaire was administered to the children of the experimental group and investigation was made to their reaction levels of interest ; understanding, remembering, and concern to the use of media in its learning process. In this study, I could not enclude all the denominations that are now practicing church school education in Korea, and therefore, their study is limited to the children in a certain church school of a selected church; Young-Nak Presbyterian Church.
