Germaine Richier彫刻의 Metamorphose特成 硏究

Abstract

20世紀 以後 예술가들은 인간과 자연의 모습을 형상화하여 超現實主義, 表現主義, 抽象 등으로 발전시켰으며 한편으로는 Metamorphose된 형태에 의한 인체의 표현을 추구하여 獨創的인 樣式을 발전시켰다. 本 硏究에서는 인간과 자연의 모습이 混成된 Metamorphose가 작품의 표현으로 나타난 Germaine Richier의 彫刻을 분석하여 Metamorphose된 작품의 內容과 그 特性을 고찰해보고자 한다. 本 硏究의 目的은 G. Richier 彫刻에 나타난 Metamorphose를 인간과 混成된 主題別로 구분하여 분석함으로써 그 특성을 규명하는데 있다. 本 硏究의 內容은 戰後 France 狀況에서 G. Richier彫刻의 Metamorphose의 시대적 배경을 고찰하고 創作에 있어서 Metamorphose로서 그 意味와 動機,그리고 彫刻에 나타난 Metamorphose를 고찰하여 G. Richier彫刻의 Metamorphose 特性을 분석하였다. 本 硏究의 方法은 문헌과 전시회도록을 기본자료로 하였으며, 문헌적 자료를 통해 이론적 배경을 연구하였다. 작품표집은 G. Richier 彫刻의 Metamorphose特性을 고찰하기 위하여, 彫刻에 나타난 Metamorphose된 작품 15점, G. Richier彫刻을 主題別로 動物化에 14점, 植物化12점, 動植物 混合形態에 8점을 그 特性이 잘 표현된 것으로 목적표집하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 人間의 動物化는 인간과 동물 흑은 곤충과 混成되어 Metamorphose가 이루어지며 그 Metamorphose된 混合形態는 人間에 대한 두려움으로 연결되어 悲劇性을 나타내며 인체의 형상이 破壞되는 과정에서 matie´re가 거칠게 표현되었다. 人間의 植物化는 인간과 식물이 混成되어 Metamorphose가 이루어진다. 植物化된 混合形態는 超越的 上昇을 의미하여 善의 具現性을 갖는 반면에 식물의 浮動性과 非能動的인 image로 悲劇性을 갖는 이중적인 image를 나타낸다. 조형적으로는 식물적인 image로 인하여 疑縮된 mass와 單純化된 표현이 드러난다. 人間의 動植物 混合形態는 인간과 동·식물, 광물 등 자연의 image가 복합적으로 混成되어 Metamorphose가 이루어지며 동물적임과 식물적인 특성이 보편적으로 드러나고 善의 具現性과 悲劇性을 동시에 나타내는 이중적 image로, 破壞的인 image는 單純化와 함께 혼합되어 표현되었다. G. Richier의 Metamorphose는 인간과 자연이 混成되어 표현된 것으로 內容的으로는 그 시대의 恐壞性과 인간의 破壞性이라는 의미를 가지고 있다. 造形的으로 동물, 식물, 광물 등 자연의 모든 소재들을 대상으로 하여 자연의 image를 人間의 形態속에 표현하여 Metamorphose된 형태를 갖는 特性이 있다.;From the twentieth century, more concrete figuration of man and nature began to be developed into Surrealism, Expressionism, Abstract and so on, and, on the other hand, an unique mode was developed by the pursuit of expressing of human body by metamorphic formation. On the thesis, the artistic world of Germaine Richier which expressed the metamorphism that was mixed with the appearances of man and nature was analyzed to consider the metamorphic contents and characteristics. As for the contents, the metamorphic characteristics of G, Richier was analyzed by the considering of period background of her metamorphism which was illuminated from the perspective of the condition of after War France and the meaning and motive of metamophism as the one in creactive work. For the method of the study, sundry records, exhibitions, cataloges and works was collected basically, and theoretical backgrounds were studied by means of biographical materials. According to the charateristics, the work sampling, 15 pieces from the structure of her metamorphism, 14 pieces from the animalization of man, 12 pieces from the plantization and 8 pieces from the animal and plant intermixture forms of man was collected and analyzed. . The results are as follows. In the animalization of man, the metamorphoses are done by having animals or insects weld into one body with man. The metamorphic mixture form is connected to a fear about the loss of human being, showing the tragedy with descent structure. The loss of man's life and dignity makes matiere rough expressed in the process the shape of human body is destoryed. In the plantization of man, the metamorphoses are effected by having man weld into one body with plants which have a concept including trees, flowers and their roots. The metamorphic mixture form shows a double image : on the one hand, with vertical ascension, a transcendental ascension in to an ideal world, that is, a realization of the good is meant, while, on the other hand, with descent structure, an image of the immobility and passiveness of the plant arouses a horror due to the tragedy. When developed figuratively, this process sets forth somewhat simplified expression rather than the case of the animalization chiefly due to the transcendental image given to the nature of the plant. And the intermixture form of man is effected by leading man to complexive fusion or mixture with every natural material such as a plant, animal and mineral. In the established intermixture form, animal properties are generally emerged, but, also appeared the double image the represents a realization of the good with ascension structure and the tragedy with descent structure. Furthermore, figuratively, destructive image and simplication are represented welded into a mixture. Conclusively, G. Richier's metamorphism has a form in which man is metamorphosed, having meanings of the horrorstriken nature of his time and the destructive nature of man, by representing material elements in the shape of man with such natural objects as an animal, plant or mineral.
