도예를 통한 시간성 표현

Abstract

世界는 時間과 空間이라는 두範圍 안에서 움직이며 人間의 意識은 時間이라는 軸과 空間이라는 軸이 만나는 점에 놓이게 될때, 즉 外的인 世界가 內的인 世界로 變化하는 데서 發生한다. 時間의 흐름은 -方向性이지만 우리는 때때로 時間의 可逆을 經驗하는데, 이것은 어떤시간의 領域에 대한 다른시간의 侵入이다. 이때 우리는 우리自身의 外部로 나오게 되어 두場所에 서있는 것과 같은 두種類의 시간속에 存在하게 된다. 이러한 同質的 空間속에서 展開되는 自由로운 行爲가, 흐르는 時間에 나타나서 한번에 두種類의 時間속에 存在하는 實存的 瞬間의 意識狀態를 造形化하여 陶藝를 通한 새로운 造形意志를 表現하려는데 그 目的이 있다. 이를 위한 理論的 背景으로 哲學의 時間槪念과 自然科學의 時間槪念을 살펴보며, 특히 現代物理學에서의 時間發展을 考察하여 時·空間의 同時性·立體主義 會畵의 多面性·造形空間物의 相互浸透 要素가 造形藝術의 表現手段이 됨을 糾明하였다. 作品의 表現的 方法으로 造形藝術의 基本單位인 幾何的形態를 바탕으로하여 時間意識의 結合에 의한 內部空間과 外部空間의 相互交流하는 뚫어진 空間을 造形化하였다. 作品의 製作方法으로 석고틀에 의한 注入成形과 板成形, 물레성형을 竝行하여 力動的인 陶磁造形物을 構築하고, 純粹造形으로서 새로운 粘土表現을 硏究하였다.;The world exists within the limits of time and space, and consciousness of a human exists in a cross-point in which the dimentions of time and space meet together; where the outer world changes into the inner world. In spite of time's one-way flow, we often experience the reverse of time, it shows that one sphere of time replaces the other. At this moment, we come out of the outside of ourselves, and become to be in two kinds of time, as if standing on two other places simultaneously. This spontaneous behavior which develops in a homogeneous space, appears in running time, and creats conscious state of an existential moment. The purpose of this thesis molding above conscious state, is to represent a new will of molding through ceramic art. Theorical backgrounds of this thesis cover the time concepts of philosophy and natural science. Especially studying the time developments in modern physics, this thesis proves that simultaneity of time and space, many sides of the cubistic painting and inter-permeatic factors of formative spatial things are the expressional means of the formative arts. The expressional methods of the works in this thesis are based on geometrical forms which are elements of the formative arts, in order to form the pierced space where the inner and the outer space are intersecting as a result of cohesion of time consciousness. The producing methods of the works are composed of slip casting used a gesso mould, slab building, modeling and spinning method, in order to crest the formative ceramic wares dynamically and studied new expressions of clay work as pure formative art.
