金鍾瑛 作品에 關한 硏究

Abstract

現代彫刻이 定着하는 過程에서 우리나라 抽象彫刻의 先驅者인 金鍾瑛 作品의 조형적 特性을 考察하여 그의 造形觀과 表現活動에 대하여 把握해 봄으로써 抽象彫刻의 領域을 보다 積極的으로 이해하는 데 도움이 되고자 한다. 本 硏究의 目的은 金鍾瑛 作品의 造形的 特性을 考察해 보는데 있다. 本 硏究의 內容으로는 金鍾瑛 作品의 時代的 背景과 造形觀을 基礎로 하였고 表現樣式別로 作品을 分類하여 作品의 特性을 把握하였다. 本 硏究의 方法으로는 文獻調査와 作品分析을 병행하였다. 이상과 같은 硏究의 結果를 綜合하면 다음과 같다. 1. 金鍾瑛 作品은 表現形態에 따라 具象形態, 幾何學的 形態, 有機的 形態로 分類할 수 있다. 2. 具象形態의 作品特性은 形態가 靜的이며 부분과 전체와의 관계가 統一感을 갖는다. 또한 造形空間의 무리한 설정이나 誇張을 피하고 要約된 現實超越의 重厚한 Image로 空間을 含蓄하는 努力이었다. 3. 幾何學的 形態의 特性은 構成 單位가 사각형, 삼각형을 基本으로 하여 形態를 幾何學的으로 單純化시키고 抽象化하여 自然과의 一體 또는 同化에서 비롯된 生命力의 彫刻的 實現을 追究하였다. 4. 有機的 形態의 作品은 간결한 表現으로 形態의 純粹性과 單純化를 表現해 材料의 本質性을 따랐으며 生命體의 有機的 秩序와 統一에 의한 새로운 空間을 創造하였다. 이와같이 金鍾瑛은 그의 삶을 통한 世界觀과 價値있는 創造精神을 우리에게 提示하였다.;It is really helpful for us to understand more actively the world of abstract sculpture by grasping the formative idea and the expressive activites on the characteristics of the works of Kim, Jong-Yung who was a pioneer scholar in the study of the abstract sculpture in the process of the modern sculpture in Korea. The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of the works of Kim, Jong-Yung. The contents of this study is to classify his works based upon the periodical background and the formative idea. And the characteristics of his works classified are separately understood. This thesis went abreast by refering to documents and analizing his works. The results of this study is as follows: 1. His works are divided to the plastic forms, the geometry forms and the systematic simple forms according to the expression forms. 2. The characteristics of the plastic forms are static and have the sense of unity in connection with a part and the whole. And it avoided unreasonable establishment and exaggeration of the formative space , and covered the courteous and sincere image of the summarized real transcendency. 3. The characteristics of the geometry forms simplified and abstracted geometrically the forms based on square and triangle in composing, and pursuited the sculptural realization of power of life headed by all relations with nature and assimilation. 4. The works of the systematic simple forms expressed briefly the pure of the forms and simplification, followed the essence of material, and created new space in accordance with the systematic system and unity of the living body. He showed his view of the world and the valuable creative spirit through his life.
