漫畵가 兒童의 態度에 미치는 影響에 關한 一考察

Abstract

本 論文은 근래 兒童에게 敎育과 社會的인 面에서 많은 論難의 對象이 되고 있는 漫畵와 兒童과의 關係, 그리고 兒童, 學父母, 敎師들이 생각하고 있는 漫畵에 대한 여러 가지 問題를 調査함으로써 漫畵가 兒童에게 미치는 영향은 무엇인가를 알고자 하였다. 硏究方法은 質問紙法을 使用하였고 調査對象者는 서울 돈암초등학교 3.4.5.6.學年 男·女兒童 709名, 學父母 142名, 敎師 200名이었다. 調査對象者中 兒童으로 부터는 다음과 같은 것들을 調査하였다. ① 男女別 漫畵嗜好度,② 漫畵를 읽고 난후에 갖는 느낌,③ 漫畵와 學敎授業과의 關係,④ 漫畵를 읽는 理由 및 場所와 場所에 다른 興味度,⑤ 漫畵貸本料의 出處와 읽는 分量,⑥ 漫畵를 읽는 것에 對한 父母, 敎師들의 反應과 漫畵는 나쁘다는 成人들의 痛念에 대한 兒童의 반응,⑦ 近刊되는 漫畵에 대한 兒童의 反應,⑧ 漫畵의 模倣成에 대한 他媒介物과의 比率등이며 이에 관한 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 男女兒童에 좋아하는 漫畵에는 性差가 있으며 그 嗜好의 順序는 男兒는 明朗漫畵,宇宙科學漫畵,運動漫畵,冒險漫畵,怪奇漫畵,歷史漫畵,武俠漫畵,純情漫畵 그리고 其他漫畵의 順序였다. 2. 漫畵를 읽고 난 후 약 半數의 兒童이 漫畵內容에 대해서 거짓이 조금은 있는 것 같다라고 했으며 강한 模倣傾向을 나타냈으며 읽고난후의 느낌은 空虛, 우울, 興奮등을 많이 나타내었다. 3. 半數 以上의 아동이 만화가게 출입을 하고 있으며 공부가 잘 안됨을 指摘하였다. 4. 漫畵는 그냥 재미있어서 읽는다고 하였으며 집에서 읽는 것이 가장 재미있다고 하였다. 5. 漫畵는 만화가게에서 빌려 읽으며 일주일에 1~5권을 읽는다고 應答한 兒童이 제일 많았다. 6. 漫畵를 읽는 것을 父母나 敎師는 大部分 좋지않게 생각했으며 兒童은 그러한 어른들의 생각을 잘 理解못하는 것으로 나타났다. 7. 漫畵는 재미있고 有益한 것으로 생각하는 兒童이 많았다. 8. 兒童은 매스콤과 똑같은 比率로 漫畵에의 模倣性을 나타내었다. 學父母 및 敎師들에게는 ① 漫畵에 의한 兒童의 行動變化 與否에 대한 父母, 敎師들의 反應,② 兒童의 授業態度에 미치는 漫畵의 영향,③ 兒童에게 권할 수 있는 漫畵의 種類,④ 兒童의 漫畵 模倣性에 대한 反應,⑤ 兒兒漫畵가 가지는 問題性등을 調査하였으며 그 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 兒童의 行動變化는 漫畵에 의해 크게 影響을 받는다. 특히 난폭성과 태만성이 많이 지적되었다. 2. 漫畵는 學敎授業에 지장을 준다. 3. 兒童에게 권할 수 있는 漫畵의 種類는 歷史漫畵, 明朗漫畵, 宇宙科學漫畵, 運動漫畵의 順序로 나타났다. 4. 兒童은 漫畵에서의 模倣性이 매우 强하다. 5. 兒童漫畵가 가지는 問題性은 ㉠ 內容의 疎略性, ㉡ 言語의 低俗性, ㉢ 兒童의 模倣性등으로 要約할 수 있다.;This thesis is intended to provide with conclusive view to the influence and its educational impact of the prevalent comics upon the children-especially of those elementary schools, which invariably bring about our immediate attention as well as a wide controversies among the parents and among the teachers. In order to expedite the study on the related problems, the writer availed the method of a conductive analysis of the related factors through a questionaire-paper polls. In the conduction of the polls 200 each from the third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade pupils totalling 800 were sampled out from the Seoul Donam Primary School as well as 200 of their parents and 200 of their teachers initially, and 709 pupils, 142 parents and 200 teachers submitted their opinions in the written answer sheets. The problems examined from children are as follows: (1) The preferential degree to the popular comics among boys and girls. (2) The feeling they experienced with the comics. (3) The relation between the comics reading and schooling achievement. (4) The motives to read comic and the preferencial degree by the time and place. (5) The sources of their money for rent fee and volumes to read. (6) Parents' and teachers' response for the children's reading the comics and children's response against the adult who think the comics harmful. (7) Children's response to the recently published comics. (8) The relations between the immitation of the comics and other mass media. The resultant responses are as follows: 1. It is clearly shown that there is a definite distinction of the preferencial degrees among boys and girls, and they prefer different kind of comics as listed, in order; Boys: 1. Funnies 2. space and science fictionals 3. Sports 4. Adventures 5. Mysteries 6. Historicals 7. Warriors 8. Romantics 9. Others Girls: 1. Funnies 2. Romantics 3. Adventures 4. Space and science fictionals 5. Sports 6. Historicals 7. Mysteries 8. Others 9. Warriors 2. About half the children answered that there are some degrees of falsehood and exaggeration in the comics. They also showed a keen affection of imitation by the comics. Considerable number of children said to have experienced senses of fancy, melancholy, and excitement as the result of comics reading. 3. More than half of the children admitted their frequent visit to the comics rent shops and remarkable deterioration in school achivement. 4. Children read the comics merely for fun, and they read them primarily at home. 5. Majority of children read rent books from the shop rather than buy them. Average volumes of reading in one the five pieces a week. 6. Most of the parents and teachers hate to see their children at the comics, yet a large number of children themselves regard this attitude unfair and lack of proper understanding. 7.children think the comics interesting and beneficial to them. 8. Children showed a sharp tendency of imitation taken from the comics stories, and the same degree of affection is inflicted by other means of mass communicational media. Problems examined from the parents and teachers are as follows (1) The parents' and teachers' response upon their children's behavior influenced by reading the comics. (2) The influence of reading comics affecting schooling achievement. (3) The kind of comics appropriate to recommend the children. (4) Children's response toward the imitation taken from the comics stories. (5) The possible problems that the comics may cause. Resultant responses from the parents and teachers are as follows: 1. Children's behavior is influenced by the comics in considerable proportion. 2. The comics reading has damaging results to the achievement of schooling. 3. Preferred and recommendable comics would be of 1. Histori-cals 2. Funnies 3. Science fictionals and 4. Sports in nature. 4. A strong tendency of imitation after the comics story in notices 5. Contemporary comics represent several malices and shortcomings as follows: a. Substantial incompetency. b. Foul and degraded script. c. Strong tendency for imitation by children.
