현대미술의 다원주의적 경향과 통합예술적 관점에 의한 환경디자인 방법에 관한 연구

Abstract

In modern society, the rapid development of materials made all established structure and value reorganized. This brought on a more complicated and desensitized human life. The conversion of people's senses with the changing of the times was broken off by the past designed architecture and urban atmosphere. This disclosed various points at issue. Therefore, solutions are asked keenly. It is the post-modernism phenomenon which is worthy of complexity and diversity, and makes the boundaries between different genre become extinct. It becomes possible that people can think creativity with emerging from the past fixed idea, and approach experimental spirit and vision. Art, as the reflection of an age, is the standard measurement of culture, spirit and value in a society. People's artistic activities are not excluded from the requirements of environment because people are the major part of the environment. Towards the 21st century, at the conversion times, people in the field of art have been trying to notify and accept the needs of various changes. For the sake of environmental design with artistically combined views, this study was focused on the situation of pluralistic modern art and design in our future. This research proceeds by the following mythological approach; 1. Recognizing the development background on pluralistic age with existing multi-culture and combining modern art. 2. Understanding phenomenal concepts and characteristics of integrated art. and architecture which reflect on the pluralistic views of modern art. 3. Grasping the characteristics of the modern architectural moulding and presenting design methods as the subjective designing approach for creating new environmental languages. 4. Based on the above study, the modem art and architectural integrated artistic phenomenal, first of all, helped the artistic concepts ta expand by gaining access to different artistic domain. Secondly, was an effort to expand the concept of modern art to public art where integration with our daily life would be possible by thorough communication of art, architecture and public. 5. Applying the theory discussed previously to the environmental design. Presenting the design which was freely combined with various genres of art and media. Designing an environment as a public art which would make people participate and react to a new artistic environment with great interest. As the result of the study above, from the integrated art aspect, interdisciplinary approach to environmental design was possible by accepting different territories of art. At the same time, this brought on popularity of art. This is concept of improving life and its quality by forming a comfortable relationship between art and our daily life. Therefore, artistic popularity and environmental art. are the new important aesthetic value and designing concept for designing our future environment.;현대사회에서 급속한 물질문명의 발달은 모든 기존의 구조나 가치를 재편성시켰고 이는 인간의 삶을 더욱 복잡하고 각박한 환경에 방치시키는 결과를 초래하였다. 현재 시대의 변화에 따른 의식의 전환은 과거의 디자인에 의해 만들어진 건축이나 도시환경은 인간의 삶이나 행태와 단절되는 여러 가지 문제점을 노출시키고 있어 이에 따른 해결안이 절실히 요구된다. 과거의 모든 영역에 지배적인 영향을 행사해온 모더니즘에 대한 반발로 등장한 포스트 모더니즘 현상은 복합성과 다양성에 가치를 두며 장르간의 경계를 소멸하는 현상이 여러분야에서 다양하게 나타나고 있다. 이에따라 사회, 문화, 예술의 모든 면에 있어서 과거의 고정적인 이념에서 탈피한 창의적인 실험정신을 강조하고 총체적인 시각에 의한 접근이 가능하게 되었다. 예술은 한 시대의 반영물로서 그 사회의 문화, 정신과 가치 등을 측정할 수 있는 기준이 되는데 인간이 환경의 일부인 만큼 인간의 활동에 의한 예술도 우리가 현재 당면하고 있는 여러 가지 환경문제에 예외가 될 수 없다. 21세기로 향하는 시대적 전환점에서 예술의 영역에서도 현재의 문제를 감지하고 이에 따른 다양한 요구에 필요한 변화를 수용하려는 시도들이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현대미술이 처한 다원주의적인 시대의 상황을 인지하고 다원주의적 경향의 특징으로 나타나는 통합예술적 관점에 의한 환경디자인 방법을 제시하기 위하여 다음과 같은 과정으로 진행하였다. 1. 다문화적이고 복합적인 예술문화가 혼재하는 다원주의 시대의 발생 배경을 살펴보았다. 2. 다원주의적 경향의 현대 미술과 현대 건축에서 공통적으로 나타나는 통합예술적 현상의 개념과 특징을 문헌적 고찰을 통하여 이해하였다. 3. 통합예술적 관점에 의한 현대 건축의 조형적인 특성을 파악하여 새로운 환경언어를 창출하는 하나의 합리적인 디자인 접근 방법으로 제시하였다. 4. 위의 이론적 고찰을 통하여 현대미술과 현대건축의 통합예술적 현상은 첫째, 예술영역간의 자유로운 넘나들기로 예술 개념의 폭을 넓혔으며 둘째, 미술과 건축을 단절되었던 대중과의 소통으로 일상의 삶과 통합이 가능한 공공미술의 영역으로 확장시키기 위한 시도였음을 알 수 있었다. 5. 앞서 논의 되었던 이론을 환경디자인에 적용시켰다. 다양한 예술 장르와 매체가 자유롭게 결합한 형태의 공간을 디자인하여 대중의 참여와 반응에 관심을 갖는 공공예술로서의 환경을 제시하였다. 위와 같은 연구의 과정을 거친 결과 통합예술적 관점에 의한 환경디자인은 자유롭게 타영역을 수용함으로 다학문적인 접근을 가능하게 하였다. 또한 예술영역의 통합은 예술의 범위를 넓히고 결과적으로 예술의 대중화를 초래한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 우리의 삶과 예술이 결합하여 친숙한 관계를 형성할 때 우리의 삶과 환경의 질을 고양시킬 수 있다는 개념이다. 따라서 예술의 대중화, 환경의 예술화는 우리가 미래의 환경을 디자인 하는데 있어서 지향해야하는 하나의 디자인 개념이며 새로운 미적 가치이다.
