1인 주거를 위한 Modular house furniture system에 관한 연구

Abstract

물질적 풍요와 함께 현대인들의 가치관의 변화로 가족 중심의 가정에서 신세대들은 성인이 되면 여러 사회적 요인에 의해 독립하는 경우가 급격히 늘고 있다. 그러나 기존의 주거양식으로는 경제적으로 여유가 없는 신세대 독신자들에게는 질적인 생활을 누릴수 있는 기회가 제한된다. 이를 보완하기 위해 개발된 것이 원룸이나 오피스텔로 현재 매우 선호하고 있다. 그러나 원룸은 주거의 질적 생활을 하기에는 여러 문제점이 많다. 특히 좁은 공간 안에 욕실만 구분되어 있고 나머지는 대부분 침실로 이용되고 있어 공간 활용면에서 효율적이지 못하고 주거의 사회적 기능은 상실되어 '욕실 딸린 자취방'으로 전락되고 있는 것이 현실이다. 생활공간이란 주거자의 정신적, 신체적 인간생활과 밀접한 관계가 있다. 그러나 경제적으로 여유가 생겨 생활수준이 향상되면서 소비자의 다양한 욕구를 충족시키기 위하여 사회 모든 부분에서 문화가 크게 향상되었으나, 주거문화는 다른 것에 비해 뒤쳐져 있다. 이 이유는 우리나라의 인구가 대도시에 밀집되어서 사람이 활용할 수 있는 공간이 제한되어 있을뿐 아니라 아직까지 집 그자체의 의미보다 소유의 의미가 강해 쾌적한 주거공간 창출이 등한시 되었기 때문이다. 이는 특히 경제적 능력이 부족한 신세대 독신자들이 선택할 수 있는 주거공간은 제한되어 있어 그들의 능력을 최대로 발휘할 수 있는 사회적 분위기를 만들지 못하고 있다. 신세대들은 다가오는 21 세기를 짊어지고 나갈 우리나라의 기둥으로 그들만의 쾌적한 생활공간을 제공해 주는 것이 절실히 필요하다. 공간이란 그 자체만으로는 의미가 없다. 생활자가 어떤 목적으로 사용하느냐에 따라 의미가 정해지고 어떠한 가구로 공간을 꾸미느냐에 공간의 기능적 효율성을 발휘 할 수 있는 것이다. 이는 주거공간이란 공간, 생활자, 가구 이 세가지가 적절하게 조화를 이루어야 쾌적하고 질적인 생활이 가능한 주거 공간이 되는 것이다. 이러한 복합적 요구에 부합하도록 한정된 공간에 가구를 적극적으로 활용하여 각 개인의 생활 방식과 개성에 따른 물리적, 심리적인 합리성, 심미성, 쾌적성 등의 요구에 충족하고자 한다. 이러한 문제점을 인식하는 본 연구는 현실적으로 주거의 최소공간이라할 수 있는 10평을 기준으로하여 기존의 가족 중심으로 기능에 의해 벽으로 각 방을 분리하는 공간 구분이 아닌 1인 주거자를 기준으로 주거에 필요한 기능을 나열하여 목적에 따라 개인적, 사회적, 공용 공간으로 나누어 이를 공간의 효율성을 최대로 살릴수 있는 모듈화된 붙박이 가구를 이용하여 새로운 주거공간은 제안하였다. 좁은 공간의 효율성을 최대로 높이면서 공간분리의 기능도 겸할수 있는 붙박이 가구와 합리적인 치수계획으로 분리, 결합이 효율적으로 이루어져 공간이나 가구에 다형태, 다기능을 제공하는 모듈러 가구를 중심으로 공간을 활용하여 비록 공간은 좁지만 기능면에서는 어느 공간보다 효율적으로 사용 가능하도록 디자인하였다. 특히 욕실을 샤워부스, 세면대, 화장실 세기능을 각각 분리하여 샤워부스와 세면대는 사용자가 주거자만을 위한 것이기 때문에 개인적 공간 영역안에, 화장실은 어느 누구나 쉽게 사용하면서 개인적 프라이버시는 지켜지도록 공용 공간에 따로 분리시킴으로 해서 기존의 원룸 공간안에 욕실을 따로 분리시킴으로 인한 공간활용의 제약을 피할수 있고 또 이들이 모두 주변의 붙박이 가구와 함께 Built-in되기 때문에 실내 공간의 시각적 일치감으로 공간의 미적 기능을 향상시킨다. 그리고 세탁 기능도 따로 다용도실이 없는 관계로 주방기구와 함께 Built-in 시켜 부엌의 개수대, 화장실, 세탁기의 배수시설을 같이 이용할 수 있어 편리하면서도 기능적이며 공간의 통일감을 살릴수 있도록 하였다. 위의 전제를 바탕으로 제안된 1인 주거를 위한 Modular House의 Furniture System은 특정한 주거양식에만 적용되는 것이 아니라 하나의 공간안에 가구에 의해 주거의 모든 기능이 수행되기 때문에 어느공간에서나 적용 가능하도록 디자인되었다. 본 연구는 우리 사회의 다양한 수요중에서 경제적 능력은 부족하지만 뚜렷한 자신의 문화를 가지면서 미래의 주인이자 최근에 새로운 수요로 급격히 떠오르는 신세대 독신자를 목표로 디자인한 경우이지만, 이것은 하나의 작은 사례에 불과하다. 아직 우리나라는 활발한 문화적 교류와 빠른 경제적 성장에 의한 생활의 여유로 인한 소비자의 다양한 욕구를 충족시키기 위해 주거문화의 개발이 시급하다. 주거문화의 발전은 단순히 실내장식을 어떻게 하느냐가 중요한 것이 아니다. 주거자의 수나 개성, 연령, 성별, 경제적 능력 등을 고려하여 다양하게 개발하여 주거자에게 선택의 기회를 제공함으로서 우리 사회, 문화의 전반적인 의식의 향상을 가져올 수 있을 것이다. 주거공간이란 인간이 인간답게 살 수 있는 가장 기본적인 요인으로 각 개인의 능력을 최대로 발휘할 수 있도록 디자인되어야만 긍정적이고 밝은 미래를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.;The new generation has increasingly lived alone owing to several social reasons, some of which can be material affluence, change of view of life, and nuclear family-centered home. Most of the new generation celibates prefer a studio because they cannot afford a big house. However, the studios have many problems with housing quality. Especially consisting only of f bedroom and a bathroom, they cannot be utilized effectively and are fumed into "just a self-cooking room with a bathroom." Housing is closely connected with mental and physical life. However, compared with other parts of life, i. e., eating and clothing, which are drastically changed to meet the consumers' various demands, the housing style is more or less static. The reasons are that the large population makes the living space limited and that the concept of house possession is much more prevalent than that of comfortable housing. Particularly, the choice of housing by the young celibates is very limited, for they do not have enough finances. The point is that to give full play to their abilities, the youth should be provided with the comfortable living space. The space itself means nothing. Its meaning and functional effectiveness depend on how it is used and furnished. Space, man, and furniture properly harmonized create the living space with quality and comfort Especially, the furniture in the limited space should be completely used to satisfy material psychological rationality, aestheticism and comfort. This study is to suggest a new living space, using modular built-in furniture, and to maximize the effectiveness of space, dividing it into private social common space, based on 10 pyung (3.954 sq. yds.), the minimal housing space. The small space is designed to be effectively used, thanks to (1) the built-in furniture not only maximizing the effectiveness of the small space but also functioning as the space division, (2) reasonal measure plan making divisions and combinations possible, and (3) modular furniture providing multiple forms and multiples functions with the space and the furniture. This study aims at the new generation celibates, the new consumers, who have their own culture and yet do not have enough finances. It is just a start. The development of housing culture is urgent to meet the consumers' various desires. It is not just the decoration of the interior. The number of residents, their personality, age, sex, and financial ability should be considered, and various choices should be provided for the dweller. The living space is the most fundamental factor for human being to live as human being, and should be designed to give full play to its dweller's ability.
