건강생활양식이 정신건강에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 무용전공학생의 정신건강상태를 파악해 봄으로써 그들에게 당면해 있는 정신건강의 문제가 무엇인지에 대해 알아보고, 그들의 생활양식개선 및 정신건강의 유지 및 증진을 위한 예방적 측면에서 건강생활양식과 정신건강과의 관계를 밝힘으로써 실기와 필기, 이중의 부담의 특수한 입시환경을 갖고 있는 무용전공학생들에게 학교보건의 측면에서 건강교육의 기초자료를 제공하고 입시불안이 높은(안경옥, 1989)고등학생들의 건강교육 필요성을 인식하는데 목적을 두었다. 이에 본 연구는 1997년 4월 29일부터 5월 10일까지 서울, 경기지역에 소재하는 예술고등학교의 무용전공여학생 701명을 대상으로 설문조사하였으며 응답이 부실한 것을 제외한 679명의 응답을 분석자료로 사용하여 첫째, 대상자들의 일반적 특성을 조사하고 둘째, 건강생활양식과 정신건강수준을 파악하고, 셋째, 일반적 특성과 건강생활양식, 일반적 특성과 정신건강과 관계를 분석하고, 네째, 건강생활양식과 정신건강과의 관계를 분석하였다. 조사된 자료는 백분율, 산술평균, 표준편차, ANOVA 등의 통계방법으로 분석하였으며, 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 일반적 특성 대상자는 예술고등학교 1, 2, 3학년 무용전공여학생으로 1학년이 37.7%, 2학년이 32.0%, 3학년이 30.3%로 종교는 기독교가 39.5%로 가장 많았으며, 가족수는 평균 4명인 경우가 46.8%, 형제수는 1명인경우가 39.9%로 가장 많았고 경제수준은 월200만원이상이 53.5%로 절반이상을 차지했고 아버지의 학력은 대졸이 58.5%로 어머니의 학력은 고졸이 46.5%로 가장 많았으며, 아버지의 직업은 사업이 27.5%, 어머니는 66.0%가 전업주부였고 자신의 건강상태에 대해 보통이상이라고 답한 학생이 거의 90%였고 고민의 의논상대로는 동료가 52.1%로 가장 많았고 다음으로는 어머니가 27.7%로 많았다. 2. 건강생활양식 건강생활양식에서는 만족감에서 점수가 가장 높게 나타났고(M=2.37), 식생활(M=1.72)과 운동(M=1.20)에서 가장 낮았다. 일반적 특성에 따른 건강생활양식은 1학년이 점수가 가장 높았고 3학년, 2학년인 순으로 낮았으며, 종교를 가진 집단일수록 점수가 높았고, 또한 경제수준이 높을수록 만족감의 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 자신의 건강상태에 대해서 건강하다고 인식할수록, 고민의 의논상대가 가족일때 건강생활양식의 점수가 높았다. 3. 정신건강 정신건강은 9가지 영역 중에서 우울증이 가장 심하게 나타났고(M=1.79), 강박증(M=1.87), 적대감(M=1.88)에서 점수가 낮았으며, 선행연구에서 대인민감성에서 무용전공자들이 낮은 점수를 보였었는데(이정분;1992) 이와는 반대의 결과를 나타냈다. 일반적 특성에 따라서는 학년별로 2학년이 가장 낮았으며, 3학년, 1학년인 순으로 나타났고(p <0.05), 경제 수준에서는 공포불안에서 유의한 차이를 보였다(p <0.001). 건강상태가 좋을수록 정신건강에 좋았고 가족이 고민의 대상일수록 점수가 높았다. 영역별로는 우울증, 불안, 적대감의 영역에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다.(p <0.001) 4. 건강생활양식과 정신건강과의 관계 건강생활양식의 각 요인별 상관관계에서는 만족감이 약물을 제외한 다른 영역에서 높은 상관관계를 보였고, 스트레스에서는 식생활, 수면, 약물에서, 수면에서는 식생활과 운동에서 높은 상관관계를 보였다 (p <0.001). 정신건강은 요인별로 서로 높은 상관관계를 보였다(p <0.001). 건강생활양식에서는 식생활과 수면, 병력과 스트레스, 만족감의 영역에서 정신건강의 각 요인과 높은 상관관계를 나타냈다(p <0.001).;The purpose of this study were to recognize the life style related the health and mental health of high school students majoring in Dance and effects of Health Behavior upon the Mental Health of the their. This study was undertaken to comprehend and analyze the difference among 1st grade, 2st grade and 3st grade students of Art high school in terms of Health Behavior and Mental Health, and to identify the relationship between Health Behavior and Mental Health in those students. A convenient sample of 701 students(260 1st grade, 230 2nd grade and 207 3rd grade students) Art high schools. The date were collected during the period from April 29, 1997 to May 10, 1997. The Quastionaire consisted of the 33questions of the Health Behavior, 47questions derived from the SCL-90 by Derogatis. The data was analysed by using in SAS program. The result of this Study could be summed up as follows. 1. General background In the individual background of the respondents, Christians were 39.5%, the average 4 of family number were 46.8%, the average 1 brother or sister were 39.9%, the highest family income was more than over 2,000,000 won were 53.5%, graduared college of father academis background were 58.5%, graduared high school of father academis background were 46.5%, business of father occupation were 27.5%, 66.0% of mothers were housekeeper, self-health status were almost 90% of over the average, counseler were classmates 52.1%, mother 27.7%. 2. Health Behavior in the respondents of Health Behavior, satisfaction factor score Mean was 3.45, lowest score factors were nutrition habit was 1.72 and physical exerscise was 1.20. In the Health Behavior through the individual background, highest level was 1st grade, lowest level was 2nd grade, were meaning differences in the factor of religion, family incom, self-health status, counseler. 3. Mental Health The test of relationship between the individual background and the status of mental health reveald that there seemed to be significant correlation between the grade, self-health status, counseler. Between Health Behavior and Mental health, there were correlation that the nutrition habit, sleeping, disease, stress, satisfation(p <0.001) For the correlation the health behavior and other variables, health behavior showed the highest correlation with brother or sister number(p <0.05), mother's occupation(p <0.05), self-health status(p<0.001), for the correlation the mental health and other variables, mental health showed the highest comelation with self-health status(p <0.001), disease(p <0.001), satisfation(p <0.001), sleeping(p <0.05). the most closely associated with mental health was life style for health.
