In the repetitive cycle of nature, human is being developed, adaptive to the changes, and insensitive to the environment. Human, who is a mortal being in nature, is different with a tree in ecological property. Nonetheless, tree has a common point with human in that it has a repetitive circulation process. As a material for artistic presentation, tree can offer to the artist a variety of expressions for images. Infinite sounds of inside can motivate to retrospect of human life. It is one of instincts of artists who want to give a certain form for internal looks of a tree which hided by constantly changing external ones. I have reanalyzed the process of circulation of tree as the cycle of human life. I have studied and modeled the inherent meanings and exciting faces of trees as well as the shapes of the tree. This research is mainly focused on proving the fact that this two features, a tree and human being have things in common in each lives, and describing internal expression of a tree in conjunction with a life of human being by giving form for the expression of a tree to a human life on a subjective view using mediation with various expressive possibilities under the supposition that the trees are highly affected by the ecosystem in nature since they are actively struggling for existence with its own toughness an propagation power. This research is searching for the reference to understand human and nature as the molding materials for the artist. I have studied about the definition, structural features, and ecological properties of trees. In addition to the regarding the tree's repeating circulation as artistic objects, I have investigated the modeling of human life and tree as a reference for different methods and models. During the modeling of growing tree, the repetitive cycle of nature was found. After defining of properties of tree such as root, branch, leaf, the model was interpreted subjectively as a part of circulation process. The constraint, contrast, elegant lines, and various faces were represented to human life through the visual curiosity. The coiling techniques were used for all products to endow the concept of space and liberal expression. The pressurized plastic was used in part. The brown stoneware clay and white stoneware clay were applied to enforce the colors and matter qualities of tree. The glaze was sprayed after brushing with matte glaze to arrange the multi-faced forms. After 8 hours of first firing at 900℃ on gas kiln (0.5㎥), the second firing was done for 8 hours at 1250℃ as a final temperature of oxidative firing. 〈work 5〉〈work 7〉 were fired three times for decorative effects. The third firing was done for 6 hours at 1050℃ as a final temperature on electronic kiln(0.2㎥). Through this research that the process of circulation of tree was expressed as human life, the tree, a simple object in daily life, could be transferred to an object having a mind and a face. Additionally, the possibility of infinite expression can be realized in the middle of modeling and analyzing of innate face of tree by the artist's subjectivity. I have pursued the creative and original world of modeling as well as shaping of subject model, which is observed and interpreted more carefully about the recycling property of nature.;자연의 반복되는 순환 속에서 인간은 성장하고 변화에 적응하며 익숙해진다.
