高校生의 성역할정체감과 자아실현성의 관계

Abstract

本 硏究는 요즈음의 高等學校 學生들의 性役割 正體感을 살펴보고 그들의 性役割 類型과 自我實現性의 關係를 알아보는데 그 目的이 있다. 本 硏究에서 밝히고자 하는 問題는 다음과 같다. 1. 男女高校生의 性役割 正體感은 어떤 發達樣狀을 보일까? 2. 男女高校生의 自我現實性에 性差가 있을까? 3. 性役割 類型別로 自我實現性은 差異가 있을까? 4. 높은 자아실현성과 관계가 깊은 것은 男向性일까? 女向性일까? 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 서울시내에 있는 1개 남자 고교와 1개 여자고교에 재학중인 1, 2학년 학생 480명을 對象으로 성역할 검사 (Bem 1977, 이 재연 1983)와 자아실현검사 (김재은. 이광자, 1977)를 실시하여 그 결과를 산출한 후 x^(2) 검증 및 變量分析을 했으며 남향성 여향성 점수와 자아실현성의 관계를 파악하기 위해 Pearson의 적률상관계수를 산출했다. 1. 性役割 類型別로 살펴보면 남자의 경우는 心理的兩性型이 가장 많아서 아직 전통적인 성역할을 지니고 있음을 시사한다. 2. 男女別로 自我實現性흐은 有意味한 差가 없다. 3. 자아실현성 수준은 실존성, 자기수용성등의 2개의 下位尺度를 제외하고는 男性型 또는 心理的兩性型이 가장 높음을 알 수 있다. 4. 높은 自我實現에 영향을 미치는 要因은 남향성이며 특히 여성에게 있어서의 남향성이 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.;This study examined the developmental phase of sex-role identity and the relationship between self role typing and self-actualization during adolescence. The Bem Sex Role Inventory (Bem, 1974) as a measure of sex role identity was selected, and the Self-actualization Test of Kim Jae Eun, & Lee Kwang Ja (Originally developed by Shos-trom) was used as a measure of self-actualization. The sample was consisted of 464 students (235 males and229 females) in two public high schools in seoul. The major findings were as follows ; 1. Among males those who were classified an androgyny are the most of all four types. for females the pattern of results shows that they tend to be stereotyped as femininity 2. No gender differences on self-actualization 3. Results indicated that masculine and androgynous individuals had higher levels of self-actualization than feminine and undifferentiated type. 4. When the independent contributions of masculinity and femininity to self-actualization were assessed, only masculinity was positively related to self-actualization. Especially for females masculinity was significantly re-lated to self-actualization.
