교육행정가들의 컴퓨터 문맹탈피에 관한 연구

Abstract

현대 사회는 첨단 과학 기술의 눈부신 발달에 힘입어 대량의 정보를 생산해 내는 정보화 사회이다. 정보화 사회에서 우리 생활에 없어서는 안될 문명의 이기는 컴퓨터이다. 따라서 오늘날 우리 교육의 당면 과제는 컴퓨터를 교육체제에 도입하여 적절히 활용하는 문제가 되고 있다. 학교체제에서 학생들에게 컴퓨터 교육을 담당해야 될 일차적인 책임은 일선 교육자들에게 있다. 그러나 그 컴퓨터 교육의 양과 질에 관한 정책을 수립하고 집행하는 데 있어 지도 및 감독할 책임은 각급 교육체제의 교육행정가들에 달려 있다. 이에 본 연구는 연구의 목적을 초등교육행정가들의 컴퓨터 문맹탈피의 현수준을 밝히는데 두고 연구의 목적에 따라 개발된 검사도구를 통하여 자료를 수집 분석하여 다음과 같은 사실을 얻게 되었다. 첫째, 교육행정가들의 컴퓨터 문맹탈피의 정도는 성, 연령, 교육경력 및 직책과 무관하다. 둘째, 컴퓨터 교육 연수의 유무에 따라 컴퓨터 문맹 탈피의 정도는 인지적 영역에서는 차이를 보이고 있으나 정의적 영역에서는 차이가없다. 본 연구는 위에서 얻은 사실과 조사분석을 통한 교육행정가들의 컴퓨터 문맹탈피의 현재 수준을 다음과 같이 결정한다. 첫째, 컴퓨터 문맹탈피의 지적 수준은 본 연구에서 설정한 수준의 67.92% 정도에 머물러 있고, 둘째, 컴퓨터 문맹탈피의 정의적 수준은 본 연구에서 설정한 수준의 75.74%대에 이르고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 교육행정가들로 하여금 컴퓨터의 교육적 활용에 적극적으로 참여할 수 있는 유인책으로 다음과 같은 제안을 한다. 1. 교육행정가들을 위한 현직 연수는 컴퓨터 문맹탈피 중심으로 구성 되어야 하되 컴퓨터 이용 교육은 기관별, 직책별로 고려되어야 한다. 2. 교육행정가들을 위한 연수교육의 기회를 확대시켜야 한다. 3. 교육행정가들의 컴퓨터 문맹탈피 교육실시를 확대 시킬 수 있는 행정적 및 재정적 지원체제를 강화시켜야 한다.;Modern society has produced a lot of new, various information with the efforts of scientifically advanced technologies. In the information society computers are rapidly becoming important tools for human lives. The present problem of computer education in Korea is developing and implementing educational uses of computers in educational settings. If all students are to become computer literate and have computers available to them, the schools must take the responsibility for computer literacy. For this to occur, first of all, administrators at every school level must be computer literate for supervising and directing the educators responsible for computer education. The purpose of this study is to find out the present status of computers literacy of educational administrators and to lead them to take part in the computer applications of out school computing. This study collected and analyzed data about computer literacy from administrators. of the results of surveys. This study found out the following facts on the base of the results of surveys. First, there is no relationship between computer literacy and sex. age, between the length of teaching experience, administrative positions, Second, there is a difference between computer training experiences and cognitive area of computer literacy, but there is no difference between computer training experience and affirmative area of computer literacy. This study finds out the current level of educational administrators' computer literacy as follows. First, the cognitive area of computer literacy is 67.29% of the level which this study suggested as the minimum level for ducational administrators. Second, the affirmative area is 75.74% of the level which this study suggested. This study suggests some direct ons to improve and strengthen administrators' program for computer literacy in order for them the to take positively part in applying computers to their administrative positions. 1. The training for computer literacy has to focuse on computer literacy. 2. The training chance should be spreaded for administrators to improve their computer literacy in educational settings. 3. The political support of administration and finance should be needed.
