스포츠 활동 공간에서의 혼잡 인지도와 스포츠 참여 장애의 관계

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 스포츠 활동 공간에서의 혼잡인지와 스포츠 참여 장애의 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울시에 소재한 스포츠 센터를 모집단으로 선정하여 공공스포츠 센터, 사설스포츠 센터(월/연회원), 호텔 스포츠 센터의 성인 남녀를 중심으로 표본을 추출하였다. 표집방법은 유층집락표집법(stratified cluster sampling)을 이용하여 성인남녀 414명을 표집하였다. 본 연구에서는 스포츠 활동 공간에서 느끼는 혼잡 인지도와 스포츠 참여 장애의 관계를 분석하기 위하여 혼잡 과정 모형을 제시한 Baum과 Epstein(1578)의 연구와 Iso-Ahola(1980)의 혼잡모형에서 나타난 요인들을 기초로 하여 작성한 설문지와 Crawford와 Godbey 등(1993)이 개발하고, 원형중(1997)이 번안한 "여가참여 장애척도(Leisure Participation Constraints)" 설문문항을 사용하였다. 자료분석을 위한 주요 통계 분석기법은 t 검증, 일원분산분석(one-way ANOVA), 상관관계 (correlation), 중다회귀분석 (multiple regression analysis)를 실시하였다. 이상의 연구방법과 절차를 통하여 다음과 같은 결과가 나타났다. 첫째, 연구대상의 개인적 속성에 따른 혼잡인지, 참여장애의 차이를 분석한 결과, 결혼유무에 따른 혼잡인지와 직업유형에 따른 참여장애에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 또한 교통수단, 수업정도, 스포츠 센터유형에 따른 혼잡인지와 참여장애는 유의한 차이를 나타낸 반면, 성별 및 교육수준에서는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 물리적 혼잡요인인 복잡, 무질서, 부적당한 온도 및 소음은 스포츠 참여장애와 정적인 관계가 있었다. 셋째, 사회적 혼잡요인인 인원수, 타인과의 신체적 거리 및 간섭정도는 스포츠 참여장애와 정적인 관계가 있었다. 넷째, 환경적 혼잡요인인 교통혼잡, 시설의 양적 ·질적 측면, 대기시간, 부대시설 이용은 스포츠 참여장애와 정적인 관계가 있었다.;The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between perception of crowding and sport participation constraints. The subjects of this study were selected by stratified cluster sampling method in order to proportionate the sample size. The characteristics of the sport center included public sport centers, private sport centers, hotel fitness centers. They all located in Seoul metropolitan area and the number of subjects were 414 sport participants. The instrument used for this study consisted of two components of crowding, leisure constraints scale as Raymore, Crawford, Godbey, von Eye developed with some background questions. The inventory was administered to four hundred and fourteen male and female sport participants by adopting self-administered method. The primary statistics employed for data analysis were t-test, one-way ANOVA, multiple regression. Based upon the results of the study the following conclusions appear to be warranted： 1. Perception of crowding and sport participation constraints showed significant differences by the type of transportations, income, sport center type. And the marriage variable was a significant indicator on perception of crowding, the participations occupation variable was a significant indicator on the significant difference on sport participation constraints. However, sex and education level were not significantly different. 2. The physical factors as the cause of crowding showed positive effects on sport participation constraints. 3. The social factors as the cause of crowding showed positive effects on sport participation constraints. 4. The environmental factors as the cause of crowding showed positive effects on sport participation constraints.
