신개념의 이해를 바탕으로한 한국성의 표현연구

Abstract

바우하우스 교육은 구체적 실체와 수학적 논리를 통해 목적 지향과 과학적 구조를 귀납적으로 환원하려는 조형이념을 낳았고 최종 형태는 유클리트적 조형세계를 나타내었다. 색채 사용에 있어서도 원색 관계만을 절대시하여 단순하고 기본적인 기하학적 형태만을 조합함으로써 새로운 기계주의, 기능주의 미학을 창조하였다. 또한 모든 과학적 이념과 지식을 논리적 실증주의에 기초해서 합리성, 과학성을 추구하였으며 이러한 이념과 실제적 삶을 조화시켜 많은 변화를 시도하였다. 그러나 대량생산과 산업구조와 일치시켜 기능주의만 지나치게 강조된 형태를 생산해 냈으며 결국 모더니티라는 모더니즘의 속성을 낳게하는 기초를 제공하게 되었다. 이렇게 모더니즘을 바탕으로한 바우하우스는 조형의 민주화와 정량화에 중심적 사고를 가지고 생산 규격화와 경제성을 추구하여 형체를 중요한 틀로 삼았다. 모더니즘을 설명하고 또 그것의 철학의 개념으로루터 유클리트 기하학으로 파생된 형태는 정태적 결정론적 견해를 가지며 절대 미학의 규범에 가까운 것이어서 기능의 적용과 같은 가시적인 요소의 적용에는 적절할지 모르나 감성과 같은 비시각적 요소를 창작자의 의도에 따라 적용하는 데에는 많은 어려움이 있었다. 신개념과 우리 사고의 이해를 바탕으로 본 연구자는 카오스, 토폴로지, 퍼지라는 서양과학의 개념을 도구로 서양 논리에서 동양 논리로의 사고 전환을 과학적 개념으로 증명하므로서 현상을 설명하기 보다는 현상을 이해함으로써 다양한 디자인을 전개하여 종래의 디자인 사고, 태도에서 탈피하여 새로운 가치관과 세계관을 지향하는 자세를 가져야 하며 새로운 과학적 세계관과 함께 우리의 시대정신은 앞서 밝힌 모더니즘의 상징들을 부정해야만 한다고 본다. 또한 한국성의 미의식에 관한 연구를 통하여 두가지 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 그 하나는 한국인만이 가지는 독특한 미학이 있다는 것이다. 한국은 다른 동양사상과 구별되어진 한국인의 독특한 붓놀림이 있고 이것은 우리만의 독창적 미학이라고 할 수 있다. 독창적인 미의식 없이 추구되는 창조의 세계는 그 생명력이 짧다고 볼 수 있다. 또 하나는 창조적 사고로서의 미의식이다. 결정론적이고 기계적인 사고의 서양논리에서 수평적 사고의 한국인의 조형의식으로 전환하여 우리 자신에 대한 옳바른 인식 위에서 다시 보며 미래로 나아가야 한다. 우리의 정신과 사상이 하나의 경우로서 세계에 인정받기 위하여 정신 문화의 가치를 물질 문명의 가치로 전환시켜야 한다. 그러므로 세계화 속에서 우리의 고유성을 회복하기 위해서는 이러한 한국의 문화의식과 조형의식의 바탕 위에서 서구로부터 받아 들여야 할 것들은 주체적으로 소화해 내야 하고 우리의 근본 뿌리의 흔들림없이 화합시켜 재창조를 해 나아가야 한다.;The Bauhaus education has given birth to a formative ideology that to restore orientation to aim and scientific structure inductively through concrete substance and mathematical logic, and has ultimately constructed an Euclidean world of formation. In the color use, as fundamental colors being absolutized and simple, basic, geometrical forms being combined, new mechanistic, functionalistic aesthetics has been created. Also, the Bauhaus pursued rationality and scientificity based upon all of scientific ideas, knowledge and logical positivism, and it has attempted a great deal of change by harmonizing those ideas and actual life. It has, however, produced certain forms excessively emphasized with functionalistic point of view in accordance with mass production and the industrial structure, thus provided a foundation of modernity, an attribute of Modernism. Like this, the Bauhaus based on Modernism has set the form as its essential base by pursueing production standardization and economicality focused on the democratization and quantification of form. Forms, that can be explained in the Modernistic terms and have been derived from the philosophical ideas of Modernism into the Euclidean geometrical ones, have statical, deterministic views and are closely related with the norm of absolute aesthetics, so they might be fit for applying visible elements as in the functional application, but it was really difficult to apply them into such invisible elements like sensitivity or what some creators intended. Based on new concepts and humanbeing's may of thinking, the author has mode an effort to prove scientifically that, based on some concepts in the Western science such as Chaos, Topology and fuzzy, conversion from the Western logic to the Eastern one is possible for developing various designs and for possessing new values or view of the world through understanding of phenomenon rather than explaining it. So it is the author's conclusion that, through this process of thinking we should cast off the existing design concepts and attitudes, and refuse the Modernistic symbols, based on a new scientific view of the world and the spirits of our times. Also, I could confirm two possibilities through a study on the aesthetic concept of Korean character. The first thing is that Koreans have their o m unique aesthetics. Korea has a unique touch of brush different from other oriental ideologies, and this can be called our original aesthetics. The life of creative world without unique aesthetics must be short. The second thing is aesthetic consciousness as a creative thought. Transferring from the decisive and mechanical thought of the Western logic to the the horizontal thought of Korean modeling thought, we should go forward the future on the basis of right recognition on ourselves. To make our thought and spirit acknowledged as a trend of the world, we should transmit the value of spirit to that of material civilization. Therefore, to recover our originality in the trend of globalization, we should subjectively digest things we should accept from the West based on this Korean cultural thought and modeling consciousness, and recreate them under our roots.
