학령전기 자폐아동의 조망수용 능력과 사회적 능력간의 관계

Abstract

본 연구는 커다란 사회적 손상의 특징을 보이는 학령전기의 자폐아동을 대상으로 이들의 조망수용능력, 일반지능 및 생활연령과 사회적 능력, 자폐증후군간의 상호관계를 밝히고 사회적 능력에 대한 이들 변인들의 예언 정도를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 4-7세의 자폐아동 23명으로 이들은 지각조망, 인지조망, 감정조망수용능력 검사들과 Leiter 동작성 지능검사를 받았다. 또한 사회능력 검사인 사회성숙도 검사와 대인행동 평정척도 그리고 자폐행동 점검목록에 대한 평정이 부모와의 인터뷰를 통해 행해졌다. 결과처리는 Pearson 상관계수와 중다회귀분석을 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 자폐아동의 조망수용능력과 사회적능력, 자폐증후군간에 유의한 정적 상관이 발견되었다.(사회성숙도 r = .56, p< ,01;대인행동 r= .73, P< .001; 자폐증후군 r = -.72, P< .001). 지능과 생활연령은 사회성숙도와만 유의한 상관관계를 보였다.(지능 r = .49, P< .05;생활연령 r = .43, P<. 05). 즉 자폐아동의 사회적 능력은 일반지능이나 생활연령보다 조망수용능력에 더 밀접히 관계되는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 자폐아동의 조망수용능력이 자폐아동의 사회적 능력을 예언하는데 있어 일반지능이나 생활연령보다 더 중요한 변인임이 밝혀졌다. 조망수용능력의 세 하위영역 중 지각조망수용능력이 상대적으로 더 중요한 예언변인으로 나타났다. 3. 조망수용능력의 세 하위영역인 지각조망, 인지조망, 감정조망수용능력들 사이의 관계는 모두 유의하지 않은 상관을 보였다.;The purpose of this study was to assess the relationship between perspective-taking ability, general intelligence & age and social competence & autistic symptoms in autistic children. Also the extent of making predictions to social competence of perspective-taking ability was seen. Subjects were 23 preschool autistic children ranging from 4 to 7 years of age. These autistic children were tested three types of perspective-taking tasks(perceptual, cognitive, and affective), as well as the Leiter International Performance Scale. And two measures of social competence were taken: the Social Maturity Scale and the Interpersonal Behavior Rating Scale, designed for this study. On the other hand the Autism Behavior Checklist was given as a measure of autistic symptoms. In order to get the result Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and Multiple Regression Analysis were conducted. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1. It was found that perspective-taking ability was significantly correlated with both measures of social competence and severity of autistic symptoms, whereas nonverval intelligence and chronical age were not. That is, social competence of autistic children was more related to perspective-taking ability than general intelligence and chronical age. 2. Perspective-taking ability of autistic children was revealed to more important variables which predicted their social competence. Of three types of perspective-taking ability, it was showed that perceptual perspective-taking ability was relatively more significant. 3. The correlations between three types of perspective-taking abilitiy were all non-significant.
