dc.description.abstractGroup counseling is a method of counseling in which the group members or a group of counselees interact as co-counselors so that they can give influence to prevent and solve their own problems and to facilitate their individual development. The main purpose of the present experimental study was to investigate the effects of group counseling package program which was reorganized by the researcher, on the self-actualization of female high school students. In order to investigate the major purpose of the study, the following assumptions were adopted : 1. Students who participate in group counseling programs will be positibely more changed in their self-actualization than those who do not participate in the program; 2. There will be a significant difference in the change of self-actuaoization between a group who are exposed to this group counseling program with long term progam format, a two-hour program per week for three-month period, and a group who will undergo this program in a three-day intensive program format ; 3. The continuity of the effects of group counseling on self-actualization will be greater when the students experience group couseling in the format with long term counseling group than in the form of intensive one. The subjects of the present study were selected among the first year students of the Muhak Girls' High School who volunteered to participate in group counseling programs. They were a total of 29, of which eight were assigned to logn term counseling program, 11 to intensive group counseling program, and 10 to the control group. All the experimental group students spent a total 20 hours for group counseling. Standardized Self-Actualization Test was administered to all the subjects as a pre-test and a post-test. Based of the results of the study, the following conclusions were drawn ; 1. Group counseling is quite an effective approach to help high school students for their self actualization. A significant difference was observed between the students who participated in some group of counseling programs and those who did not participate in any group in terms of their self-actualization change. 2. No significant difference was observed between two experimental group that long term counseling group and the intensive counseling group, in their self-actualization change when measured before and immediately after the group counseling activities. However, it was noticed that the continuity of the effects of group counseling on self-actualization was greater in the group of students who had long terms counseling program than in the grop of students who participated in short term intensive group counseling program.;集團相談이란 구성원들이 共同의 相談者가 적어 서로의 問題를 豫防하고 解決하도록 돕고 人間의 成長과 發達을 促進시키는 相談方法 이다. 本硏究는 本硏究者가 선행연구를 토대로해서 계획한 集團相談프로그램을 가지고, 실시한 集團相談이 女高生의 自我實現에 미치는 劾果를 알아보려는것이다. 이와같은 目的達成을 위하여 다음과 같은 假說을 設定하였다. 첫째, 本硏究에서 再編成한 集團相談프로그램을 가지고 실시한 집단상담에 參加한 學生은 不參한 學生보다 自我實現의 水準에서 肯定的인 방향으로 有意한 差가있을 것이다. 둘째, 本硏究의 集團相談에 長期間 參加한 學生과 短期間 參加한 學生間에는그 自我實現의 水準에 有意한 差가 있을것이다. 셋째, 本硏究의 集團相談을 실시하고난 직후부터 三個月 경과된후에 自我實現水準을 再檢査한 結果, 本硏究의 集團相談에 長期間 參加한 學生은 短期間 參加한 學生보다 그 自我實現水準의 持續性에 있어서 效果가 클것 이다. 本 硏究의 實驗對象은 M여고 一學年 學生들로서 集團相談에 自進해서 希望한 학생들중 무작위로 선정한 29명, 그중에서 다시 무작위로 장기실험집단 8명, 단기실험집단 11명 통제집단10명의 三個集團을 구성했다. 그리고 實驗集團에 대해서, 長期實驗集團에게는 매주 2時間씩 20時間의 集團相談을 三個月余에 걸쳐서 실시했고, 短期實驗團에게는 三日間 集中的으로 20時間의 集團相談을 실시하고, 統制集團에게는 集團相談은 실시하지않고 사전 사후에 自我實現檢査만 실시하였다. 이와같은 集團相談의 經驗이, 自我實現에 미치는 效果를 알아보기 위하여 標準化된 自我實現檢査로써 集團相談실시전과 실시후의 自我實現水準의 變化를 測定하였다. 以上과 같은 節次와 方法으로 이루워진 本硏究의 結果 다음과같은 結論을 얻었다. 1. 本硏究에 의한 集團相談결과, 集團相談에 參加한 학생은 不參한 學生보다 自我實現水準에서 肯定的인 方向으로 有意한 差가있다. 그러므로 여고생의 自我實現을 돕는 方案으로 集團相談 方法은 有效하다고 본다. 2. 本硏究의 集團相談에 長期閒 參加한 學生과 短期間 參加한 학생간에는 그 自我實現水準에 거의 差異가 나타나지 않았다. 3. 集團相談 결과 自我實現水準의 持續性이 있어서는 本硏究의 集團相談을 실시하고난 후부터 三個月 경과된후에 自我實現水準을 再檢査한 結果 長期實驗集團이 短期實驗集團 보다 그 持績性이 크게나타났다.-
