墨을 통한 人體의 造形性 硏究

Abstract

From the past human beings started to create something with modeling sense and will to today, human beings has continuously been the object of creation externally or internally, and there has been a lot of expression ways. Especially, today unlimited materials and a lot of painting styles coexist a lot of artists in the east and west have been trying modern modeling work through various experiments with the material of the human body. In this study, I examined the meanings and backgrounds of treating human body in painting, and studied the expression ways of the modern western and Korean artists who took the human body for motive among the major trend emphasizing artist' expression ways in the 20th century's modern arts which demand a variety of isibility. On the other hand, I also used the human body as the important motive of my work, and it appears more than just the object of beauty or concrete symbol of women. That is, the human body is the object which has abundant modeling principles and factors such as lines, shapes, dynamics, and rhythm, and I covered how these principles were expressed in my work. Most of all, method study was a study on the modeling characteristics of the human body through chinese ink and lines, and became the basis of general analysis. Finally, I had a chance to review the result and problem of my work, by presenting and analyzing each work produced, and it helped me search for the future direction of my work.;인류가 조형감각과 의지를 갖고 무엇인가를 창조했던 과거부터 오늘에 이르기까지 인간이라는 대상적 범주는 외형적이든 내적이든 끊임없이 창작의 대상이 되어왔으며, 그 표현방법에 있어서도 다양한 변화를 거쳐왔다. 특히 무수한 소재와 그에 따른 수많은 회화양식이 공존하는 오늘날, 동서양을 막론하고 많은 작가들은 인체라는 소재를 가지고 다양한 실험을 통한 현대적 조형작업을 꾸준히 시도하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 회화에 있어서 인체를 다뤄온 배경이나 그 의미를 알아보고, 대상을 관찰하고 표현하는 시각의 다양성이 요구되는 20C 현대미술에 있어서 작가중심적 표현방법이 주를 이루고 있는 가운데 인체를 모티브로 한 현대 서양과 한국 작가들의 표현방법을 살펴보았다. 한편 본인의 작품에서도 중요한 모티브로 사용된 인체는 단순한 아름다움의 대상이나 구체적인 여인을 상징하는 차원을 넘어서 등장하고 있다. 즉 인체는 선, 형태, 운동감, 율동감 등의 풍부한 조형원리와 요소가 함축된 대상으로서 이러한 조형원리가 본인의 작품속에서 구체적으로 어떤 내용과 방법으로 표현되었는지를 다루었다. 무엇보다 방법적인 연구는 묵법과 선을 통한 인체의 조형성 연구로서 개괄적인 작품분석에 앞서 그 기초가 되었다. 마지막으로, 제작된 한점씩의 작품을 제시·분석함으로써 작업의 성과와 문제점을 되짚어 보는 계기를 만들었으며, 이는 앞으로의 작품방향을 모색하는데 도움이 되었다.
