도시 이미지의 서정적 추상 연구

Abstract

20세기 이후의 회화사에 있어서 가장 큰 혁신은 3차원적 공간의 파괴와 더불어 필연적으로 이루어진 평면성에 대한 자각이라고 볼 수 있다. 이것은 대상을 묘사하는 것에서 탈피하고 화면구성에 관심을 둔 입체파의 경향에서 비롯되었다. 이러한 흐름은 1, 2차 세계 대전 이후 초현실주의에 의해 미지의 영역인 인간의 내면적인 세계를 탐구하게 되었고, 나아가 추상 예술의 등장은 감성적 성향의 서정적 추상과 이지적 성향의 기하학적 추상의 두 갈래로 크게 나뉘어 졌다. 본인의 제작 연구 내용은 이러한 순수 조형 회화를 기반으로 하여 자연에서 얻은 이미지를 표현한 것인데, 이것은 현대 사회의 산업화된 도시의 이미지(Image)라는 소재에 본인의 정서를 투영한 서정적인 표현이라고 할 수 있다. 그리고 작품의 제작 연구 과정에서는 인간의 내면 세계에 존재하는 사상이나 감정을 서정적 추상성으로 표현하였으며, 형태를 단순화 내지는 기하학적인 것으로 환원시킴으로 인하여 도시가 갖고 있는 분위기를 서정적인 측면에서 표현하고자 하는데에 중점을 두었다. 이론적인 측면에서는 직관과 상징성에 관한 것을 본인의 작품과 연결하여 설명하였으며, 기법적인 측면에서는 화면의 기본적인 요소로서 선과 면, 그리고 색채의 조형적인 분석과 더불어 물감의 부착상태에 의한 결과로서 나타난 텍스쳐 (texture)가 본인 회화의 특성을 이루게 되었다. 그리고 일부 작가와 그의 작품의 예를 들어 본인의 것과 비교하여 작품 설명을 도왔다.;In Art history of the 20th Century, the biggest achievements are the destruction of three dimentions and self consciousness of indispensable sense of a plane. The trend of Cubism made the start of it and this trend continued after the world war Ⅱ. Study and Investigation of inner world was expressed by surrealists. But in this trend Abstract Painters are more subjective than surrealists. Abstract Art can be analysed with Sentimental lyric abstraction and intellectual geometric abstraction. The author try to express the image which can be obtain from nature upon the bases of this trend. And it reflects the authors emotions. The author emphasis the expression of the lyric abstraction with her thoughts and emotions and the simplicity of industrial city in geometrical shape. in this thesis, the author illustrated her study with intuition and symbolic character. In technical aspect, She used line, geometrical fiqure, and colors upon the formative analysis. And texture of the canvas by the attached state of dyes could be one of her specific character.
