色彩를 통한 무한의 사고공간 연구

Abstract

현대미술은 새롭고 多樣한 경향을 띄고 급격히 변화한다. 傳統的 美術에서 벗어나 변화하는 세계속에서 난해한 양상을 띄는 현대미술은 東西藝術간의 거리의 폭을 좁히고 재료선택에서 표현에 이르기까지 그 범위가 넓혀지고 있다. 따라서 현대의 藝術家는 과거의 傳統的 藝術과는 달리 열려져 있는 곳에서 자유로움을 추구하게 되었고 藝術이란 무엇인가 ? 라는 물음에 대한 해답이 多樣하다는 것을 볼때 현대미술의 상황속에서 個人이 「하나의 意味」를 찾아야 함은 당면한 일이라 할 수 있다. 본 論文에서는 「하나의 意味」를 표현하기 위하여 高次的인 自己意識을 전제로 보다 적극적인 作業을 통해야한다는 점을 근거로 본인의 作品을 설명하려 한다. 直接的 經驗에 의한 작품제작 방법에서 "自己表現"의 根源은 무엇인가 ? 表現을 위해 먼저 存在意識을 확인하고 화폭위에서 어떻게 表現의 空間으로 만들어지는지 알아보았다. 다시말해서 事物이나 觀念들의 이미지들이 인간의 고유한 認識能力인 象徵과 想像力의 결합을 통해 어떠한 상태로 運動을 하는지 현대적 造形技法을 빌어 표현해 보았다. 哲學的 分析 내지는 心理的인 이론을 바탕으로 인간의 存在에 대한 확인을, 創作하고자 하는 衝動과 연관시켜 作業의 모티브로 삼았다고 볼 수 있는데 그러한 동기로 제작된 作品을 통해 논리적인 사고의 제한을 탈피하여 無意識的인 영역에 관심을 두었다. 그로써 눈에 보이는 세계의 이미지에 새로운 의미를 부여하고 현실을 넘어 本質의 世界를 확인하므로써 새로운 이미지를 통한 無限한 繪畵의 가능성이 있음을 본 論文을 통해 알수 있었다.;Modem fine art is changing rapidly, showing a new and diverse tendency. Modern fine art to take on a recondite look in the changing world, by sloughing off the traditional fine art, is narrowing the width of distance between the East and the West, and the range of it is being widened from the material selection to expression. Thus, to see that modern artists get to pursue the freedom in the open state contrary to the past traditional art and that the solution about the question, ''What is art?" is diverse, it came to be natural that individual should find out one meaning in the situation of modem fine art. This thesis is to explain my work, on the basis of the point that the expression of one meaning should be made through more directly working process by setting high-level self-consciousness forth as a premise. What is the source of 'self - expression' in the method of work manufacture by the direct experience? For the expression, existence consciousness was confirmed above all, and how to be made from the empty space which is white picture to the space of expression was examined. The unfolding about the point that the images of things' or ideas in the space move to a certain state thought the combination of symbol and imaginative power which are the human peculiar recognition ability was made by the modem moulding technique. It can be deemed that to connect the philosophical or psychological theory with the drive to try to create the motive of work Thenn interest was taken in the unconscious domain by sloughing off the limit od logical thought through the work manufactured with such a motive. By granting the new meaning about the image of visible world with it and confirming the world of substance rising above the actuality I intend to clear that possibility of infinite paintings through the new image is opened.
