자연을 상징하는 추상적 화면

Abstract

현대 미술의 다양한 속성들은 20세기 이전부터 시작되었다. 미술 분야에서 전통 자체가 모순적인 유형들의 복합체라는 사실을 증명해준 미술사 연구가 활발해지고, 미술이 자기 표현이라는 새로운 관념이 등장함에 따라, 양식이라는 것이 문제시되었다. 즉, 미술가에게는 자신의 고유한 동기를 발견해서 주제나 기법을 통하여 이를 표현할 것이 기대되었다. 그리하여 낭만주의라 불리는 경향이 등장하였고 그뒤 다양하게 여러 양식이 등장하여 오늘의 20세기가 끝나가는 최근에 와서는 다원주의적 양상에 이르렀다. 위와 같은 흐름을 인식한 관점에서 작품 제작 연구를 중심으로한 본 논문은 자연 대상에서 유도한 형상을 물질적 소재를 이용하여 다다이즘과 초현실주의의 우연성과 무의식에 기인한 정신성을 바탕으로 화면에 새로운 형상을 반영 하고자 하였다. 본인은 다양한 재료를 이용해 위의 정신성에 입각한 자연형상의 표현을 이루는데 목적을 두었다. 우연성과 무의식의 도입은 회화에 있어 고정적인 형태 관념을 깨뜨리는 길을 마련해 주었으며, 미술가에게 새로운 자기 표현의 길을 열어주었다. 본인의 작품과 연관지을 수 있는 다다이즘과 초현실주의 회화가 갖는 反예술적 경향이 무의식과 우연성이라는 과정을 통해 창조적인 표현이 가능함을 알았고, 이것이 또 서양 미술의 이성주의에 기반을 둔 전통에서 이탈하여 새로운 예술 영역을 창조하고자 했던 의도임을 알았다. 특히 자신의 예술 세계에 직접적으로 다다이즘과 초현실주의에 대한 연구와 예술 사조를 수용하거나 간접적인 형태로서 받아들였다고 볼 수 있는 작가중에서 자연 형상에 접근한 작업을 보여준 아르프 [그는 한스 아르프(Hans Alp)인 동시에 장 아르프(Jean Arp)이다]와 유기체적 형태를 보여준 호앙 미로(Joan Miro)를 선정해 형태적인 면에서 또 우연성과 무의식에 입각한 정신적인 면에서 그들의 작품 세계와 내용을 검토해 봄으로써 본인의 작품 제작 과정이나 표현 내용을 연구해 보고자 한다.;Before the 20th century the various attributes in modern art began. The study of the art history was activated, which had proved that the tradition itself was a compound of the contradictory types. Also the style was issued to the appearance of a new concept for art to be a self-expression. Namely so expecting that the artist was to find out his unique motive and expressed it through thesis or technique, that there, appeared a so-called Romanticism followed by various styles to make pluralistic state in the late 20th century. This paper aims to transform a form from the natural objects into a new form in the screen, recognizing this flow, in the basis of spirit from casualness and unconsciousness of Dadaism and Surrealism, to take advantage of materials. I aims to express the natural form in the basis of spirit above to take advantage of various materials. The introduction of casualness and unconsciousness gave a way to break the fixed form concept, and opened a way of a new self-expression to the artist. It was found that the anti-artistic trend of Dadaism and Surrealism relevant to my works could be expressed the creative one through casualness and unconsciousness, and that this was a intention of creating a new genre of art separated from the tradition on the rationalism of the western art. It will be analyzed a process or the contents of my works experimenting their artistic world and contents in form and spirit on casualness and unconsciousness - as selected artists Arp(Hans Arp as well as Jean Arp) and Joan Miro´, the former showing approach to the natural form, the latter organic form, who were ones of the artists likely to directly accepting Dadaism and Surrealism in their artistic world or indirectly accepting them.
